TSR : O&P Wiki : Protocol : ICcode

This article is part of the O&P Wiki hosted by The Slave Register

This is the version from 24 Dec 06, 11:04 PM. The full history of this article will show any more recent versions.

ICcode for "Protocol"

A protocol is a rule or code of formally correct behaviour, especially
describing how an activity should be performed. In D/s, protocol is
usually symbolic of [wiki=Submission]submission[/wiki] and is therefore
a type of [wiki=Ritual]ritual[/wiki].

Protocol is more specific than [wiki=Etiquette]etiquette[/wiki], which
may also apply to informal environments. The phrase "High Protocol" is
frequently used in D/s and the ownership subculture.

Protocols are conveniently defined and compared by writing a
[wiki=Protocol schema]protocol schema[/wiki] - a systematic description
of the Classes, Dress and symbols, Speech rules, and Deportment involved.
