A person who owns a human being. Often used synonymously with the term Master. This term
is preferred by those who dislike the historical connection with atrocities that the word master
or slave embodies. It is also preferred by many who erotize dehumanization or those who prefer
to use a gender neutral term rather than master or mistress.
