TSR : O&P Wiki : Etiquette: history

This article is part of the O&P Wiki hosted by The Slave Register

Etiquette

Etiquette is the set of conventions for personal behaviour observed in a particular society or culture. It aims to avoid unintentional offence or embarrassment by providing generally accepted patterns of behaviour.

Major issues addressed by etiquette include introductions, physical contact (such as handshaking), topics of conversation, precedence, terms of address, and the use of titles.
