That's the one which Norman openly admits can be painful if held for more than a relatively short time...
The photos are nice, but it perpetuates a few inaccuracies, such as image http://www.yourroxy.us/roxypet/images/roxypetcol... showing the arms held high above the head, and the tower position pics not showing the wrists being crossed.

Did you notice that the posting which contained the URL's you're referring to was 2 and 1/2 years old? Things change (or "Panta Rhei", as Heraclitus would have said)...

Panta rei - 'everything changes' was quite often chaged in my greek class to 'panta loons' - 'everything is pants'.
Ahem. Master tells me I've been having too much coffee these days. Apologies. 'The three most dangerous things in the world are a programmer with a soldering iron, a hardware engineer with a software patch, and a user with an idea' - Rick Cook

Does anyone know of an excellent site for Gorean slave positions (i.e. with pictures)? Please post a link if you do. Take care.

These are not all Gorean and they aren't given Gorean names, but it's a remarkable page all the same:

Well...i couldn't agree less with this one though!
-quote-
"Toes Tucked
Toes are tucked under the rest of the foot, streching the soles. This tends to hide the creases around the arch. It is often adopted by lazy slavegirls in kneeling positions as it makes the positions easier to hold, a tendency which must be corrected."
-unquote-
if i understand the position correctly, it is much harder to hold - takes lots of practice.
So please do not believe everything your read, especially not about lazyness....

Here is a great site with photos of positions. Named positions are up top then photos
http://kohlteths-camp.tripod.com/positionspics.h...
The Gorean master desires more than a slave's submission, more than merely her body. A Gorean man is satisfied with nothing less than all of a slave. He will possess you, body and mind, heart and soul. Nothing less is acceptable.

The page is a sort of a joke about extremely long lists of positions
(And free eye candy for a pay site too of course.)

<grins>
Everyone clearly missed this bit...
| Foreword
Hywel's note: the following is written in a deliberately over-serious ponderous academic style, like a 1950's biology textbook. I just couldn't resist, it was too much fun to have mock "academic debates" with Ariel while we were shooting! Please in mind that bondage is fun: I promise I'm not this pretentious or pompous in real life! If anyone takes this too seriously you should feel totally at liberty to poke them in the ribs and tell them not to be an arse! |
Not to mention the bit about using suspension as even elegant slavegirls can't levitate! Very good.
The first time I saw it I also thought it was for real and commented how the person who called kneeling with your toes under you lazy clearly hadn't had to try! No idea how anyone does it for more than a few minutes cos it hurts me like hell.
Hee. Pretty pictures tho.

Many of the postures listed in the restrained elegance site are physically impossible for an old geezer like me.
As Thomas Cranmer once said back in the 16th. century, "English winters are unkind to old bones."
But I did try the Frogtie posture where the you lie prone and with knees well apart and grasp the ankles. I held it for quite a few minutes. It loosened up my knees no end. It has become part of the daily ritual now. To be a true slave is to be truly free
