In the US the Women are far more empowered and have more confidence than a lot of working class UK women. I would think most working class women would not even think of having a servant. There is the class barrier, we are not accustomed to having a person be a servant or slave! I have found that most who say they are slaves, are not at all. Most are subs if that! Often they come with their requirements and what they want to get out of the Owner/slave realtionship!!!! This seems to defeat the object in a way. My wish is far from to insult you but...there has been much more evidence for secondary classes in the US than in the UK, in the UK our class system mainly focused on money and who had it. In the US though you guys have had people becoming second class citizens for more reasons: black slavery, oppresion of ethnic groups (such as the chinese and irish when building the railways, often in abismal conditions) you even have the rich, not so rich and downright poor. The reason the americans don't notice it is because the lines are more blurred. In the UK the divide between classes was huge, yes, but that said the truth is that the class systems exist everywhere in many aspects, if you loom close enough. Next page
