It's really fascinating being able to read how so many different slaves got their names and the reasoning behind it all. Master first started off by simply calling me his pet (Master prefers that title more than "slave") but after almost a month of Master owning me he gave me the gift of the name moogle. Master and i are both avid gamers and are quite fond of a particular video game series called "Final Fantasy". In the games there is this very small magical creature that is extremely adorable (at least in Masters opinion and mine as well) that helps you throughout the game. There are many of them but they usually come in different colors and so on and they are called moogles. Well Master decided that moogle was a fitting name for me because i am "cute, always helping..." Some may think that being named after something out of a video game is silly (which i will admit my initial knee jerk reaction was such), but i have to say after hearing Master explain to me why he found it fitting, liking that it also reflected something that W/we both enjoy and the fact that it was an easy name for me to use with both my vanilla and non-vanilla friends, i believe that it is the most fitting name Master could have ever honored me with. All i can say to any slave out there that is not completely thrilled with their name is that you were given it for a reason and that as long as the name is pleasing to your Master, that is all that should matter. But my name is my name, Debs and that's what he calls me. Its nice really to know that its ME in my essence and totality that's his. No persona, no other being, just me. For example if he says my name while hes holding me it sends shivers down my spine. I can see people becoming their name and that in essence becomes the main person that you are, it lays claim. I also like the fact that I am what I am and its just me and that I belong to him as me. Especially as a mother and an active person within the community as it helps me merge all the aspects of my life as one as such.
