It reinforces constantly her position as a slave in several ways. 1. Nakedness symbolizes for the slave that she is completely open to her Master and nothing about her is hidden from view. 2. It also lets the slave know that she owns nothing, not even a piece of cloth to cover herself, and that she in fact is owned. 3. Since clothes are a priveleged item and the norm for most people, her nakedness makes the slave aware that she is different and subordinate to her Master and all others who are clothed at all times. 4. Of course nakedness also carries with it the feelings of vulnerability and the control of the Master on the slave's body. 5. In D/s situation it's more a negotiated arrangement anyway. In my case,i greet my Master in the upstairs hallway kneeling, naked, with arms outstretched, palms up and mouth open. i must look directly toward his genital area and await his command or for him to enter the bedroom or bathroom. i follow and keep myself prepared to asnwer his every desire. If He's been away, i usually receive a slap on the ass cheeks as a symbolic reminder of what i am. If i accidentally make eye contact with him my face is slapped fairly hard as a reminder of our relationship. If Master desired me to appear wearing items of clothing He would tell me so. If granny is coming to tea, its not OK. When you live with children its not OK, when you go to work its not OK. There have to be realistic expectations within our society, if its during the day while s/he is out, what about answering the door and the con sensuality and acceptance of the postman or a friend who comes round? I guess it depends where, how and why we live where we live too. I think I am fast coming to the conclusion that there are many opinions, some of which we would not agree with as a couple.
