My personal opinion is that if you wish to go down that line of 'training' you find a person who wishes to also embark on such a relationship. You may also find a Dom/Master/Mistress etc that you would like a relationship with who will also take on a 'newbie', you can then build up the relationship and 'train' together. He is very good at what He does. Fully equipped, many types of courses and reasonably priced. Master says email Him for further information. Please see my profile as i am used by all who attend. The APEX Academy in the Butchmann's tradition is also open to all. There are 2 pan weekends along with 1 men's weekend and 2 women's weekend. The third pan event is the Advanced weekend. I have been to both and both are excellent. Butchmanns is much more spiritual in nature, although Master Taino does teach cathartic flogging as well. Both will give an excellent overview of some basic, widely accepted (but not written in stone) protocol. There are very very few, and they're mostly aimed at gay guys rather than the straights. www.mastertaino.com has been mentioned already, and Butchmanns has closed (but is partially continuing as http://www.arizonapowerexchange.org/academy/ ) There are also pro-tops (ie women who will top you for money) who present themselves as running "training" schools (which just involves doing SM and bondage for money by the hour), and a significant number of male doms who present themselves as "trainers" and "mentors" when again, they're just doing BDSM scenes with people and dressing it up as something to pitch at newcomers. My view is that people should be up front about what they're doing. It may well give people valuable experience, but just playing with people and explaining how you like things to be done isn't a training course or school. Master Taino's Training Academy did started as all male, mostly gay Training facilities. But tht has changed big time in the last couple of years. Now we offer SIX training weekends every year: Two Master Training Weekends for doms of all genders and sexual orientation. Two slave Training Weekends for males of any sexual orientation. Two slave Training Weekends for females of any sexual orientation.
