Wed 10 Aug 05, 1:36 AM 710-326-466 US, 6 yrs As I recall, the previous I.E. site (which still linked to the slave registry) was primarily concerned with the Male Dominant/female submissive relationship. I also recall an explanation of the rational behind this decision. This agreed with my overall feeling that dominance and submission have a some tangible relationship to gender. That is, that most males feel more comfortable when they have some control in their relationship to a woman and most women seem happier when they have a man able to exert that control (to some extent or another). I'm not denying that there are males who are submissive and females who feel dominant in relationships. But, overall, I feel there is a biological foundation for male dominant/female submissive types of relationships. In the new site I notice there is far more empahsis on male submissives and female mistresses than in the past. I feel a little cheated as there are so many femdom resources on the net. I didn't really expect to slog through all of that, here. I understand that traffic is essential to a lively site and that may be what caused this shift in focus. But, I wonder, will there be a section devoted to the Male Dominant relationship to female submissives? The IE site is still about maledom/femsub relationships of Enslavement, primarily because that's what lili and I know about and it's our writings that go there. However, The Slave Register has always been pansexual, so the Enslavement web board on TSR is too. I certainly agree with that, and there are several "smoking guns" which suggest that some aspects of IE and maledom/femsub D/s in general have an evolutionary basis. This doesn't preclude femdom/malesub relationships at all, but does mean they could be happening for different reasons: in the same way that homosexuality, SM and masturbation aren't there for "making babies", even if they probably have their own evolutionary purposes or causes. I registered on here once i got my first 24/7 Master as i considered it important to make public my status in life. A varied form of D/s participants can only be good.
