But even in a naturist setting there is still somthing which can be taken from most slaves: their pubic and/or body hair. It's not so permanent as a tattoo or brand, but while it lasts it will be noticed and questions are likely to be asked. You haven't been taken out naked until you've gone out right after a pubic shave, with your exposed skin still moist and tingling. If you think about it, many rituals from prison admissions, army boot camps etc also involve nakedness to get some measure of emotional exposure and vulnerability, as a preparation for rebirth within the organisation.
