About me: I'm a mid-thirties dom near Manchester in the UK. I've had my slave, lili, living in my household for the past 5 years, and for the first 2 or 3 years we wrote a lot about M/s and TPE - some of you may remember the old Enslavement Yahoo group we ran and http://www.enslavement.org.uk is still online with some of our essays. Most of our public efforts have gone in to the BDSM scene in the UK over the last 18 months or so, including a complete rebuild of the Informed Consent website that I also run (now up to 1500 posts / 2500 visitors a day) but we're now feeling like discussing Enslavement and TPE more again, which is why I've been posting to lists a bit more and why the revamped Slave Register now includes web boards like this. Ok, who's next? 15 Jul 05, 8:13 PM kethry 8 yrs hmm. these kinda things make me think.. the age old question: "who am i?" what, of all the things and labels that make up me, is the most important? my online name is kethry, or ke'chara to Master. ke'chara means beloved, a name that Master gave me about 6 months ago, and i've been using it since then. However, i was kethry (or variations of) for nearly 6 years so i use them both for now Most people in the lifestyle know me as keth.. even some of my RT vanilla friends know me as keth too! it seems so much nicer, so much more "me" than my real christian name - Liz, or worse still, Elizabeth. Only my mother calls me Elizabeth, and then only when i'm in trouble. Anyway, Master was reading a series of fantasy books - the same series that kethry came from, as it happens - and saw the name ke'chara, and decided on the spot that i would be renamed. so i am. (for those who are interested the series is Mercedes Lackey's Valdemar series.) I have been owned by Master for nearly 2 and a half years at the time of writing, although to begin with we were much more along the level of Master/submissive than Master/slave. Our personal life has given us reason recently to re-evaluate what we want from each other. We live together in Manchester, and are active in the local community. We;re both in our early thirties and as yet, don't have any children - just our gorgeous girlie, jessie, our dog. I don't work, and this gives me time to take care of Master and his home, our puppy. Outside of BDSM most of my interests are directed towards things that are useful to Master or our home; cooking, gardening, sewing, etc. I hope to do a couple of local community courses in September on lacemaking and wood carving *smiles*. I love serving Master good food, or creating something to make our home better, something to serve. Other than that i love reading, mostly sci-fi and fantasy, something i share with Master, and all things internet/computer (I'm a geek-in-training). and like tangie before me (*waves hi to tangie*), I'm going to stop before this turns into an essay! kethry{BP}/ke'chara{BP} xx 15 Jul 05, 9:54 PM milkmaid UK, 11 yrs Hello, I also have been here for ages (years in fact), but I've decided that it's really time that I took this further. I really never did anything without pondering for ages, lol. I will be attending my first munch this Sunday; quite scary but I've been dangling my toes for far too long and if I really, really want this (as I know I do) then the only way seems to get out there and meet real people. I hope that I will gain a lot more insight here and in real life will eventually achieve me goal of being Owned (within a loving relationship of course!!) (I'm pretty geeky too.) We met on usenet (a.s.b) back in late '94... I'm 42 and just started back to college to get my bachelor's in Cognitive Science, with Signore's, ahem, encouragement. Our story is something that i never thought really happened: two months after we 'met' (and played a bit) online, i made the trip to see Him. Although i am 46, and have known since elementary school that i was 'different', i'd never been in a seriously D/s relationship before, and had never been in *any* kind of M/s one. i felt inside that this was what i was looking for, and i was right. That first weekend began my training, and a year later, on our 'anniversary', He collared me, and had me tattooed. i have been His devoted puppy ever since. We do not live together right now, but eventually that will happen. For years I have pointed all new Doms and subs to the Internal Enslavement website. It is one of THE MOST informative sites I've ever seen. I am the owned slave of a Master currently serving our country in Iraq. During His absence, my owner put me into the service of another Master. Truly I have been blessed. Looking forward to getting to know everyone.....and learning something new! 16 Jul 05, 2:34 PM swtnss UK, 9 yrs Hi, my online name is swt however the one I serve calls me molly ... for almost all of my life I knew I was different and it has certainly made life difficult and almost impossible for me. I never fully understood what was going on and who I really was until I dabbled a little online and then began reading about Internal Enslavement many years ago. Suffice to say after attending munches, clubs and parties and still not finding that which I felt was 'me' I finally began to realise that what I needed was to be enslaved by a Master. I discovered that there were an endless supply of Doms but there was a distinct difference to me between a Dom and a Master. Unfortunately the one I serve is not able to keep me 24/7 at the present time but I am hoping it will occur in the near future. To be accepted for who you are and to be cherished for who you are is amazing. I am still growing and learning and it is such a relief to finally accept who I am .... I am glad you sent me an email and I am happy to be a part of this group. Hi, I was very pleased to receive the email from Tanos telling me about this discussion group. A little bit about myself. At the time that I found the 'Internal Enslavement' website I was in a relationship that started out as 'D/s'. It ended in February of this year. I had never been in a D/s relationship before but by the time the relationship was drawing to a close I realised that I would never be happy in a relationship unless I could be the submissive I believe myself to be. I've now met someone who wants to be my new Master. His approach to this kind of relationship has been very different to what I have experienced before and to be honest I am both scared and excited by it. Anyway to cut a long story short, this discussion group could not have come at a better time and I hope to learn from other's experiences and maybe in time make contributions myself that may be useful to others. Uk knight runs a yahoo group and a munch and we throw the odd party. We try and I mean try as we dont always achieve to live as close to 24/7 as we can. I say that as we have 6 children between us, close family, a dog and 2 cats. I am committed to a theatre class I teach and a dance class and I put on one charity production a year which ends up fab but a migraine follows and I am involved with local groups who produce shows. I also sing professionally in a group that do weddings, parties etc. I volunteer to help in the local school for 2 days a week. So, amongst all that we live as close to out ideal as we can. I was a professional theatre person (starlight express etc ) before becoming a management consultant for gemini in london. I am now a mum to my 4 daughters who are 6 9 10 and 12. Ukk is also busy and runs a business in software with a partner, plays football and runs the group etc. His 2 children are 15 and 13! We have been together for nearly 4 years now and I was collared 6 months after we met. Neither of us are spring chickens, yet neither had received or offered a collar as we considered the whole ownership principle to be special. We are in the process of selling our 2 homes so we can live together. We feel this will help us move forward to where we want to be. I am not an easy posession, I tend to fight , kick back, remain opinionated and testy. I am dearly loved and love in return however and we both believe we have found our soul mates. I'm 43, live in Tennessee, U.S. and have been with my beloved owner for more than 25 years. Through the eighties we were involved with bdsm on the SOBNet system and a few events. In the nineties we joined the NLA, wrote for the Sandmutopian Guardian (as Steve and Carolyn Vakesh), attended events, ran a whip business, and were quite involved with the public community. Which inevitably led to the burn out and disillusionment that drove us from the public bdsm scene. We are now involved again. My beloved Owner is writing the NLA's official history (if you have memories, memorabilia, or photos, please let me know) which will be published in time for LIL 2006.
