TSR : Web boards : Website help : "Old inactive account"
Old inactive account (2)
This post is on the Website help web board.

I created an account on here years ago and then set my status as "free" while I went back to school and took a break from relationships. Unfortunately, I have no idea what my old TSR account information was or how to access it. Of course my email addresses have changed several times and I have gone through several computers and laptops . . . so the information is simply not available to me.
I have since created a new registration with the hopes of running across the information and somehow merging the two accounts. Alas, I have never found the old account information. So, I am wondering if there is any way to find out about old account information, without having it sent to email accounts that are deleted or no longer accessible. Or if there is any way to change the year that I first registered to reflect the original "lost" account date?
Thank you for any guidance provided.

All perhaps isn't quite as lost as it might seem. With the profile system that Admin created, even if a profile is 'deleted', it's never actually removed from the system, only from public view - so you could, in fact, come back with your user details in 5 years time and re-activate it.
But of course a lack of details is at issue here. The computer(s) themselves, would be of little help to you in these cases, but remembering the e-mail addresses you may have used or perhaps having access to the IP address at which the other account was created will be completely useful when asking Admin for help in locating your old information.
These things can be done, and with the provision of as much information as at all possible, you'll get there in the end, hopefully.
Good luck

Another possibility is when you were on here last time did you become friends with anyone and join their network? If so & if you remember their profile name you could search for their profiles and see if you're still on their network list My name is Lord Uther, king of kings:
Look on my works, ye Mighty, and despair!
