No problem at all. They're circular, not flat. Only thing I suggest is cleaning inside the lock itself every so often, especially if in contact with things other than water such as sea water, soaps and such. After having mine seize with sea salt and having to remove it for an MRI I clean it regularly. I've never had to remove it for x-rays or airports or anything, even in Cuba. Master is replaceing my 24/7 leather fur lined cuffs after 2 years of great use (the leather is heavily worn and one of the D-rings is in danger of ripping off). I currently wear a set of ankle cuff from Axmar. They are the permanent titanium ones. Their quality is excellent and have worn them two years now without any problems. My future plan is to also have them make a permanent chastity, which they inform me that they can do as well as permanent wrist cuffs. When I find an owner I hope to also have a permanent collar. I have a collar, cuffs and ankle cuffs from Axmar and although they were all expensive - they are all extremely well made jeffectively hand made to my individual measurements. I would thoroughly recommend them if you are looking for something of excellent quality.
