So my question is: In a technical way which are the differences between the appellations Owner and Dom??? Their dynamic is very light compared to the owners dynamic. The Owner is looking for a piece of property to call his own. The owner is basically looking for a slave. The difference between slaves and submissives in the lifestyle is that submissives usually have a say in what goes on in the relationship. They have safety words. Slaves usually don't have a say, they don't have safety words. Not a set standard for every relationship. lol Some Masters may give their slaves permission to form an opinion, like you said. He may disregard said opinion anyway. What I am getting from this is, he uses it as a sign when you have reached your limit. He may choose to stay at said limit or go beyond said limit at that point.
