This is about M/D types' incentives and analysing their behavior. Something somebody told me the other day made me think, there are really two sources the M/D types can derive pleasure from - their own domination or their slave's behavior. I would be happy to explore this with you M/D types. What is the mixture for you?
I've found out for me is definitely more the slave's behavior. This is most of the times what turns me on, not seeing myself in the dominant position. In fact, in many cases I don't really like the manifestation of power. This goes for my slave's behavior as well. Overall, more discreet is mostly my preference. However, I am very particular about my slave's behavior because this is where my real pleasure comes from.
This is a dependency and it definitely compromises the M/D's complete control over the dynamic. It is when the M/D demands and depends on His/Her slave's ability/effort to meet those demands. Just another less obvious example of what we discussed in the "Submissiveness and Human Nature" thread. On the other hand, if the M/D type derives His/Her pleasure mostly from their own behavior this dependency is minimized. |

These could have been my words.
It took me years to accept that my girls wanted me in a dominant position. English is not my first language. For many here it is difficult to express their feelings. If I make mistakes, please tell me.

Good one! I am like you. I know people hate it when I make this analogy, but if you own a dog and train it, you get pleasure when the dog starts to respond to that training. Personally I would find a dog boring compared to a human being, but it is similar. I do get pleasure from the (good) behaviour of my girls, often in very simple ways. Nadu is beautiful to me. When out together I can whisper "knee" and they both go down on one knee regardless of company. That makes me proud of them. And turns me on lol!
