Greetings all, Why would a thread become locked? I certainly understand the contentious nature of the "Last Christmas" thread, but seems to me it served as a good warning for all.....?

Curious about the 'locked' status.

Locking is a way of stopping a thread turn into a fight without deleting it completely.

Understandable. Interesting though, that it was a warning to other owners yet the replies were from slaves.

Such things should happen more. More moderation is needed at times. Also it avoids some posters to be the judges of this forum.....when in fact there is only one judge.
