Second, while I am sure a number of s-types have fantasized about being kidnapped and locked away in a cage. It is not very rational. By being kidnapped and locked behind bars that would mean you would have no access to medical care, dental care, and etc, which are important. You could also end up being kidnapped by someone who actually wants to do you harm. Third, living out your fantasy may sound like a good idea and the chance of dying maybe something you are perfectly okay with. But your family and your friends are going to wonder what happened to you. Your family is going to be left to pack up your residence, spend hours hanging up missing person's posters, and spend hours looking over faces of the unidentified dead. Your parents and siblings will have many sleepless nights wondering if you're cold, hurt, or hungary. From the perspective of a sister, whose brother joined a cult and literally disappeared for 9 years, I can tell you it is hard on the family. I was in grade school at the time and the one thing that sticks out in my mind is putting up missing person's posters with my brother's face on it. After two years of searching, a known serial killer who preyed on young men was found in the area where my brother was last seen, we assumed he had died and his body was not found. I will never forget the conversation my twin and I had with our father when he came to realization that his oldest son is probably never coming home. In the end, my story has a happy ending. My brother came home and he left the cult, not everyone is so lucky.
