(my bold in the above paragraph) According to a web search of the image, it shows up on at least two other similar sites. If the photo is actually hers, it is possible the OP wasn't even aware that the photo was on these sites. What is so weird is the length of the story and the whole scenario. Why does anyone go to all that trouble to make a such a story and then have little profile, remove it, put it back on, change pics around and all the bogus stuff? Do you know the person whose pictures were stolen for the fake profile? That is the only way you would 'definitely know' the person in the picture was underage. If you do not know the person who is in the picture you cannot say for sure the person is underage. When I saw the picture that has since been removed I did not think she was underage. The picture which the random guy on the internet thought I was 13, but I was 26 in was one with clothes off. I do not wear make up to make myself look older, nor would I have an interest in getting a boob job or gain a bunch of weight just to fit someone else's opinion of what an adult female looks like. I face discrimination because people assume I am underage all the time becaue of the mindset of having to be right and a hero. Many times, even after my age is confirmed I am still harassed. No one deserves to be harassed, belittled, and etc because someone 'thinks' they are younger than what they actually are. It is okay to ask politely, but it is never okay to assume. To those of you who are quick to judge , I hope the people in your life don't jump to conclusions based on rumors, innuendos and unsubstantiated accusations. Don't know the girl, and i only joined Fetlish to look at "said" pictures (for those who check dates.) I had to join fetlife to look at the picture, only after it was pointed out and that isn't me. So now I look at some "other emo" site to look at a picture to defend myself? Really? Is this what we do on this forum? Would you like to know how this feels? Anyone can go on the Net and grab pics of you or a loved one and say it's "so and so" and they did this and they did that and it's taken as truth. No trial, no jury. Guilty as falsely charged. Doesn't it make us all feel warm and fuzzy to know YOUR pic can be posted as well on any of these sites? Here's what I find funny. The so-called pic on emowhore was posted 10/24/11, the same day I posted my question. No, really. Check the properties and the date on the site. Coincidence? Hard to say. I emailed the Admin and that pic has now been linked to 2 sites as well (as of the 24th). All are amatuer and post your girlfriends site. Seems there is not a thing the Admin can do. This is more then humilating to me. Yes, I deleted my account. I tried like heck to get that pic removed from that site it was added too. Good luck, it's a pain in the butt. I won't stop trying. I just hope someone doesn't grab your pic and add it stating you wanted it there. I have a job which I could lose. I joined this site on the EX Master's wishes who has now moved on. I'm not going to run away. I re-activated my account the same day, the 24th. It has taken this long to post . It has been entertaining though to see the speculation and cruelty move ahead. Also, I wanted to be able to speak to the Admin and you can't do so with a deleted account. So, to those of you who think I'm someone else with a new name, you're wrong. I came to this forum to learn and make friends. I hope that's still the case. Other boards and forums are full of drama and people who like to attack. I was told that didn't happen here. Perhaps you should memo privately to attack others so people don't need to waste their time reading such trash? (though you may want to ask the person to find out true facts first) I understand many here have been on this board forever. I will not leave unless asked by the Admin. Perhaps if you take the time to know me, you may find that I too, have valuable things to offer. In closing, in all honestly, I hope you can look at the mirror at the end of a hard day and know you were loving, non-judgemental and open. I truly hope illness and pain never cross your path. Things can change in an instant. I mean, your OP was nearly painful for the writer and the granddaughter of a very strict English teacher in me to get through, and now you have near perfect grammar and spelling? I mean, I'm nowhere near perfect and I don't fault anyone who can't write like Shakespeare or Hemingway or even anywhere close. I'm not a grammar or spelling Nazi, in fact, I've as recently as yesterday had one pointed out to me. But it is a quite drastic change. I am... astonished. And, I don't want this to turn into "she thinks anyone who can't write is stupid" because that's not anywhere near the truth, it's just that people's skills don't tend to change that much that quickly. I feel like I've most likely opened a can of worms about how not everybody can have perfect grammar and spelling for whatever reason, and I completely understand that point, I am simply talking about the stark difference between post one and post two. Is this TSR finest helping newbies to feel at home? Personally I think this is quite shameful. So maybe it was not her real photo? So what.. what's the big deal? Did nobody of us ever lie here about their age, location, picture, life, relations, whatever. Small lies to protect your identity, out of uncertainty, or simply because someone is a newbie. If the intention is good, then a small lie doesn't automatically qualify you as being fake or a scammer. Look at what she writes in 4 posts. Did you actually read it all? This is a real person trying to find her way in a new environment. A real person with hopes, fears and questions. And look at all the stuff our proud TSR community threw in her face. Ok, so maybe she made some mistakes, who doesn't.. But still.. If we as community regularly start discussions as "Why Do People Leave..?" Then let us look shameful in that mirror, because the last thing we want is that people ran off because we ourselves tear them apart in the moment they don't immediately adhere to an unwritten TSR protocol. What happens if Simple slave runs away now? Will we all cheer as in: "look, I told you so, she was fake, a scammer, I told from the first moment..". To my personal opinion, if Simple slave runs away TSR looses, it will only reflect bad upon us as community.. So I would suggest we all take a deep breath and go on together in the type harmony we need at TSR. In the end we all are special people and we share the same dreams.
