As a working slave, my Owner prefers to stay at home with the House and children and generally be a homebody. i am the one who brings in the money, has a career (one that if i say so myself, i am good at) and am also His personal servant. Our dynamic is definitely O/p with heavy service related things thrown in. Question is this: Are there any other slaves in this position? How do you take off you "work mindset" when you are done or do you see your job as part of your slavery? My situation is the reverse: my Owner goes out to work, while I am confined to His home. Literally everything that needs to be done within the confines of the garden wall, in addition to whatever else He wants, is for me to do. This is something i've always been curious about Respectfully submitted, malak Property of House Briar Rose As it is right now, Master and i have been in a similar situation. i work outside the home as a teacher, while he remains at home. I enjoy my career (i had been teaching for almost 10 years prior to meeting Master), but would walk away from it if Master said to. (This is providing that He has returned to work and is able to support the family.) During the school year, there were several occasions where He would actually have to help me drop my "teacher mindset" and bring me back to myself. These days were typically ones that had been excessively stressful. Most days, however, i am able to switch myself from teacher-mode to slave-mode. My drive home is not enough time for me to recenter myself, so i use the changing of clothes to help me switch roles. Taking off the clothes of the work day (which were approved the night before) to put on the clothes that Master has approved for the remainder of the day allows me that moment to reflect and focus on what it means to be His. Well, I guess my situation is a little different. I am a Disabled Veteran and do not have a "paying" job, but I work on the property we live on as I am the caretaker for the property and the owner that also lives on the property. I do have a disablility income, but my wife, who is my submissive (but she will also be Dominant if we find another sub/slave to take on) does work. But, whether a Master is working or not, I believe there is nothing wrong with a slave having a job and contributing to the household financially.
