My midwife said the stress of worrying about being snowed in triggered a maternal defensive mechanism of stopping labor in a "dangerous situation" and labor should resume on its own when the snow melts or the roads are a little less dangerous... (which should be by tomorrow or thanksgiving.) baby and I aren't stressed at all, were doing great... i'm just slightly baffled at how labor can regress and just stop like that, but I know its possible.... LOL Looking like i'll get to enjoy thanksgiving while pregnant at this point and labor will kick back in soon enough.
