What are the differences and similarities between a slave and a (human)pet? True freedom is being free to give yourself away.
i am because He allows it.

My personal opinion the major differance between a slave and a pet would be more freedom. Yes I know slaves are bound by rules and so are pets but stop and compare, slaves on average are not required to use the bathroom outside, or on paper, where as if you are a pet sometimes you master may require you to do so. Normally you are allowed to eat the normal way or "human" way and not either on the floor at your masters feet or out of a dog bowl.. what I think I'm trying to say is you get treated more like a human then a pet. Depending on your rules ur master has for you. But the easiest thing they have in common is obvious, a master, or owner. A set of rules to be followed, someone to please and a sense of belonging. Me personally have been looking into being masters pet and have even discussed it. We have agreed to take it slow and figure out what we both like and dislike. While I. Love being my masters pet as in terms that I take car rides with my leash and always wear my collar with my name tag on it and sitting by my masters feet. While he may pet me and call me his good girl I'm still his slave as well..I guess its a half and half at this point. But in the end its what your and your master feel comfortable with but either way make sure ur both happy and have fun with it =) |

A pet, in the strictest sense, would not speak in a human form of communication, or language.
I see it as an interesting form of role-play, but wouldn't want a 24/7 pet. DarkSado

For some, like myself, pet is a term of affection and does not carry any behavioural requirements other than to obey and be pleasing to my Master. To me, pet refers to the fact that in my nature I am quite cat-like. (Though despite common misconceptions about how cats are always alpha with their humans, there is a hierarchical setup in feline groups--like in a pride of lions.) It is an affectionate term to me. Then again, in my relationship with my Master/Daddy we have a very low-protocol pet play element. Some pets are very different from slaves, others are quite similar, and some (like myself) feel they are both. It all depends on the protocols in their relationships. ~I am Coco, the collared slave girl and kitty owned by her Daddy~

In my experience being a pet was more restrictive than being a slave. i was required to behave as an animal such as a pony or a dog. was fed according to it not to mention other necessities... It can be a good experience especially when the circumstances are right ie. on a farm. It was a limited experience in length because I was trained while we were on holiday and rented a cottage on the countryside. |

i love to be a pet because it is advance form of slave ,,when a slave loves to be owned and she is well aware of her master and her master trusts her ,,,,so sometimes He removes the leash although she is ving her collar on and on her all 4s in the public ---she obeys like little doggie both ways whether leash is on or not |
