i know this may not be the most politically correct question ever posted on here and i may even come across as a racist, nothing is further from the truth as a lot of my friends are either of mixed race or are coloured.

my question to any Master/Misstress would you take ownership of a slave of another skin colour than your own?

Same question for slaves, would you submit yourself as a slave to a Master/Misstress of another skin colour from your own.

Please note: this post is purely to get a debate/discussion going.

I will start the ball rolling.

Both Master and i are white and Master has told me although He is not racist because He has never been attracted to coloured woman and simply for this reason He has never thought about owning a coloured slave. Both Master and i know other relationships that work very well where both partners are diferent coloured.

It would be a boring old world if we were all the same.

Regards to you all regardless of colour, race, religious orientation or sexual orientation.

I see nothing racist in this at all, our sexual preferences are our sexual preferences. It's the same thing as if someone only prefers blonds, it doesn't make them prejudice against brunettes. I have often been called racist because I don't find certain ethnics to be my sexual flavour, and yet a white friend of mine who only goes for black people is called liberal, and I have black friends who only go for white people with no comment.

Quite often in this politically correct world things can be taken too far, and as in my example above, positive discrimination can take place eg it's ok for the minority to do/say something but not the majority. Which is not equality and is just as discriminatory.

i couldn't have put it better myself but i eagerly wait for some conflicting opinions, which i am sure will not be long in arriving.

Well, i hate to disappoint, but i don't disagree.

As for me, i would consider submitting to a Master of any ethnicity - except of course that i already have a Master and can't imagine ever being in the position of seeking another one. :-)

It's kind of funny that this question came up considering my last homework assignment was "defining race and ethnicity." My trainer and I are both white and I will in the end be his house slave, so I am not looking. If I were looking, race would not be an issue, it never has been. I have been with people of different races before. I look more for a persons personality and knowledge than how they look anyhow.

i am of Asian origin; my grandparents both coming from India, so my skin is a mid-brown colour. My owner is White-British. For me, the racial difference between U/us, with all its historical connotations of the Raj, does give an added dimension my slavery.

Ushaben: I would like to ask you a question, it would be great to have your perspective. I have been approached several times by asian boys who would like to be called 'paki boy' and other such racial slurs. Having been raised in the 70's/80's I personally see nothing wrong with the word but I appreciate that others do so I don't use it. With the general social connotations of the word I've always felt uncomfortable that an asian would want to be called it and felt it would be a sign of a lack of self respect and other possible self-esteem issues. What would your feelings on that be?

Greetings.....

I don't have a problem working with someone of any ethnicity or background. I have never had the opportunity to do so but I would love doing it. It would enable me to learn more about others as well as myself and new and different ways of working and things to both watch for and watch out for.

Be well....

I personally would be slave to a Master/Mistress of any race. I was raised by my dear mother who taught me that people are equal regardless of race, color, etc.

I do have a close friend who is a slave, and he prefers to sub to african-american women. Just his preference I guess.

Very good topic.

My former sub Nef is black-american and she knew My feelings about racism and that I knew the US history better than many. I encouraged her to be a better woman. It thus colored in a different way our BDSM relationship . The next sub will be judged and cherished as a person first. Griff

I didn't have a preference in skin tone when I was looking for a Master. I found character of more importance than race. I don't typically see someone's race as I am getting to know them. However, if their pattern of speech and accent is different than mine; it does affect my opinion. If someone is talking to me like they are from the ghetto, a redneck, or a hillbilly. I didn't have an interest in forming a relationship with them.

Best wishes,

slave emma
