One of the things that came up was the fact that She wants to eventually brand me. So i went on the internet and was trying to find out as much as i could about this topic. I have talked on collarme in the chatrooms about the subject and have even read some postings here on slaveregister.com about the subject. seems like instead of getting incouragement, all i get is warnings about how i should run from my Owner. The thing is i love my Owner and would never dream of running from Her, though when i get mad at Her, i yell at Her that threat. She really has a lot to deal with because i am going to be giving birth in about a month. So what i guess i am trying to say is, are there anyone who can share positive experiences with branding. By positive, i mean brandings that are not forms of punishment. i brought up some of the points that i had read about, and was quickly put back in my place. Would not want the inter to be taken because i keep on listening to bad advice, especially because i am an online college student. thank Y/you in advance for anyone who comments. 4 Sep 10, 8:31 AM AnonMoos US, 5 yrs I'm sure many people have had positive experiences, but it's generally not something that you should try to do yourselves, unless your owner is willing to invest a very significant amount of time undergoing what would amount to an apprenticeship to acquire a professional level of expertise... 4 Sep 10, 9:10 AM 792-223-127 AU, 22 mths my experience is entirely positive *grin*, like you, my Owner and i are very much in love as well as being committed to a full time D/s relationship - with a hefty spicing of BDSM lol.. *bliss* .. i digress ... we both enjoy the public display of Her Ownership of me, i am always collared. It seems a natural extension to look at more profound expressions of that Ownership. Branding has a long history as a mark of ownership in slavery, not just as a method of punishment. It is not particularly painful, less so than a tattoo *grin* Okay, how we went about it; deciding it was a good idea was easy lol.. no angst there ... my Mistress designed a sigil based on the initials of Her name, we then contacted a professional body modification studio and showed them the design, they were happy with the design and with being able to reproduce it (keep design simple, straight lines as much as possible) the location we chose was the inside of my left thigh ... MyLady's choice ... as She wanted to be able to see it anytime by simply lifting my skirts *bliss* The process is NOT like cowboys branding cows in films ... the method used on me was to first cut the design into the skin using a scalpel ...only a slight stinging sensation ... then a piece of surgical steel is heated to white hot and using the tip the artist slowly goes over the cut branding and cauterising at the same time lol... Okay ... I know it sounds bad hehe ... but it wasn't the sensation was almost cool rather than hot, I found it quite soothing...*sigh* (must get another lol) Good aftercare is important ... it is a third degree burn and should be treated as such ... you do not want an infection i & my Mistress are extremely pleased with the result! ... any questions? lol Edited 4 Sep 10, 9:12 AM by 792-223-127 4 Sep 10, 10:25 AM barefootwill 2 yrs Not that this is something I would ever allow to have done to myself, I would imagine that if you went ahead with any sort of branding, it would be best to get it done by a professional body modification specialist. Nice pun, but it can also be a very *cold* topic depending on how the branding is done. There's another technique known as "cold branding" that is far less traumatic to the person on the receiving end than hot branding is. I've seen several people get cold branded. It does work, if done correctly. Google "human cold branding" if you want more information. Good luck! But i trust that with research He could do it well. It's just something else to think about. She looked me straight in the eye and said that She really desired to brand me one day. She said that She has experience and even has Her own branding iron. Since then W/we have talked about the subject a couple of times. i know that She is serious and that makes me take the subject really serious too. i also understand that someone who is unowned and confused about what he wants sounds like a switch. i used to say that i would not do X,Y, and Z. sometimes i still do that but all it takes is for my Mistress to give me that look and i am telling Her that i would do anything for Her. i loved Them way before i signed my contract. that is one thing that They could not have made me do. i might be a slave, but i cannot lie about how i feel about another. Sometimes i reaally do not love Her, but i know that i cannot let my emotions rule me anymore. that was my biggest problem before i became a slave. that is one problem i am glad that my Owner is working with me. And for anyone who will ask, i am Owned by a Couple. I have a Mistress and a Master, plus my husband lives with us. So because She is the one who will train me after i give birth, when i say Owner in the Singular i am referring to Her. If it's any help to you, I can totally understand why you would wish to be branded; for me it is the ultimate symbol of being owned. And as such, it is a decision that should not be taken lightly, obviously. To me it is the greatest gift that a Master/Owner can bestow upon their slave and therefore should be an unbreakable connection between both parties.
