We are 24/7 and we are O&p, but my Master does have a Daddy side. It's not like a "role" it's somehow intermingled with the Master side. i guess He's like a stern Daddy all the time. But everything is done as He says just like those who probably don't ever use the term "Daddy". Anyway, my Master bought me a car i have always wanted. i drive mostly for errands but some for our business. i was driving the huge work truck and it wasn't working out. i never learned how to park (err, dock it LOL) and i almost rolled it down a hillside where i got stuck and He had to come with a tow. Master decided He wanted to get me a car, and a very nice one at that. He bought it used, so it was less than most people would guess, but it is still more than i ever thought i would get to use as my own. It is odd, because i went from no car for my personal use to a very nice one. i am still a slave of course; matter of fact nothing else has changed And indeed He seems happy, proud, to be able to provide something more than utilitarian for me. Has anyone gotten a gift from your Master that was fancy or expensive? I havent had 'expensive' gifts bought - although everyone's idea of 'expensive' will vary (a car of any sorts comes under that category IMO). Master buys me random presents that have more worth in practical terms than financial terms ie, a cargo net for the bike, a *good* axe for chopping wood - He replaced my helmet after my bike accident. Master knows that while these things are relatively inexpensive, their worth and impact on my life is immense. I would be lost without all of them! The fact that He has provided them to make my life easier is the icing on the cake for me It shows me and reminds me everyday He has my well-being and best interests at heart. We are not 24/7 - although i consider myself to be 24/7 as i am always His (i know there is a big difference and i hope to experience 24/7 in the way you live someday - forgive me - i dont want to start a war or derail the thread!)... but i guess each dynamic may make a difference to the gifts, impact and reasons. On my first birthday with Master He got me rather nice diamond earrings, then since my car wasnt worth putting anymore money into He went out and bought an SUV for me to use for running errands and such, i always lived paycheck to paycheck before being with Him so i didnt have the money for nice things. When it came time for Him to collar me i got 2, one is my house collar, black leather, fur lined and my everyday collar is the journey diamond necklace, and not the little cheap one either. My guess would be that He bought you a car to protect you from killing yourself in the work vehicle, and thus protect His property; that property being you and the work vehicle. That is why i was careful to put "to use as my own" and "for my own personal use"... as in, He lets me use it, it was purchased for my use, but i don't own it. i don't know whose name is on it, i am not privy to such information. All i know is i get to use it And everything we have is His anyway. He wanted something that i would wear 24/7 which the vanilla world not see as what it really was.
