I recently started being a Master full time, I had a few short dom-sub relationships but not 24/7. I've read quite a few boards on here and am very impressed with the knowledge and experience of the community. Just a few minor things really like knowing when or if i've gone too far and understanding my slaves limits, I know this is basic stuff. However it's almost always better to learn from those more experienced than yourself. Also, some ideas on keeping a hold of my slave over the long term, especially in public. 23 Aug 10, 5:21 PM 375-295-503 UK, 23 mths Hello Master Mmz, I am not sure you will appreciate a response from a slave, but I can certainly offer my perspective on the subject. I would recommend that you begin by establishing a relationship of trust with your slave. This is achieved by good communication. Talk about everything; boundaries, likes/dislikes, what you require from your slave and also what she expects from being your slave, etc, etc. Make sure the basics are in place, i.e, safe word and what is unacceptable to her. As you gain in confidence and the trust is strong, you can begin to push her boundaries; but don't try too much too soon. If you prove to be a wise and honourable Master, then she should be priviledged to serve you; but it takes a wise and honourable Master who has respect for his slave also. If you can' t control the flow of life stroking against your body then how can you control a slave? Meaning you have to make an effort in obtaining a helicopter view and analyzing the signals in the correct way. For instance not mixing up humour with insults.. The willingness to learn will determine how far you in potential can grow as a master. So relax, learn, acquire knowledge , say 'sorry' if need be and become bigger then life. I do appreciate your thoughts and will put more effort into strengthening our bonds. I was pointing out another perspective on the post, though to be fair humor is difficult to gauge in a converstion online. So I do apologise to all offended parties. You have to know your slave, understand her in every way. You are in a position of great responsibility. It is commendable that you are seeking advice from those more experienced than you. Keep that up. More knowledge is always a good thing. Next page
