Hypnosis possible? (13)
This post is on the M/s D/s O&P web board (moved from Internal Enslavement).

Slave is having a hard time adjusting to its new life...and lack of freedom.
Is there a way to ease its discontent/depression either through hypnosis or some other forms.
Suggestions/help needed. Please email slave's owner at michelle201069@yahoo.com
Thanks,
Lady Michelle,

Might I suggest Temporary Neutering?
It stems the production of testosterone in a male slave removing their aggression and rebelliousness. Also while the heating occurs it places the slave into a suggestible state making it easier to programme said slave.
Hope this helps.

Hypnosis is certainly possible, however there seems to be larger issues going on here. If slave is miserable and not adjusting, maybe some communication in some sort of a time-out might be needed to address these issues: one human to another to come to agreement on the relationship?

Hypnosis possible?
Personally I won't give a penny for hypnosis treatment. The medical evidence is simply too thin and to my opinion far from convincing. There is nothing hypnosis could do for a person, which said person could not realize all by himself as well without the help of hypnosis. To me hypnosis has the same unscientifically value as homeopathy.
Best medicine always against a background of depression is communication. Either between the two of you or with a counselor. And since you ask the question I would advise a counselor, because if you could do it yourself, you won't have asked the question in the first place.
Be well,
Sir Aldric

If you look at slavejohn2010's picture properly this man looks like he's in real emotional anguish; his eyes are so sad-looking.
Have you thought, Lady Michelle, that maybe he's just not that happy being your slave? Maybe you are not fulfilling the kind of control he needs.
Aren't these relationships supposed to be all about mutual consent? Where does trying to modify someone's way of thinking and behaviour to come into line with what you want by using hypnosis fit into that? Using temporary neutering to "place the slave into a suggestible state making it easier to programme" sounds just as horrendous.
Like Semega has already stated maybe you should just attempt to communicate with your slave on a more humane level. Then you may find out why he is having such a hard time adjusting to your kind of domination.

This slave did not see sadness or emotional anguish in slavejohn2010's eyes, rather that he looks uncomfortable in his restraints. Life is what you make of it

Lady Michelle,
By reading through what you have written, I feel what you're dealing with is more of a case of reactance. Your slave is reacting to you taking away some of his freedoms. When you take away someone's freedom a push back in some form may occur.
Here is a link to an essay on reactance.

I would tend to agree with most of Sir Aldric's assertion. Hypnosis is no cure all and despite the stage shows one sees to make it work at all a great deal of research must be done by the hypnotist into the background profile of their client. In my work I have done a lot of research into hypnosis and most peoples hopes are unfounded.
