Also, every webboard appears to say "Do not post personal ads to the web boards!" I'm not sure what the post originally said but I have seen people post "personal ads" in the "personal ads" section looking for house slaves, friends, and what-not. I saw nothing that gave even a hint of how one can put a personal ad up that does not meet with whatever the poster himself is looking for... for example, when I open personal ads all I see are ads from submissive females looking for a Dominant. certainly that is not the place to put an ad from a Dominant male looking for a submissive female. and I have NEVER see any personal ads looking for hosue slaves, friends and what-not. would enjoy perusing same and reading the responses. give me a hint, where to the left of this conversation, will I find a single word leading me to those ads you mention or to tell anyone how to post a personal ad that does not have to do with females looking ... as I said above two or three times now I think... thanks. p.s. none of this was meant to be criticism, it is meant to tell you and maybe even the trolls who run things here that the "instructions' section leaves a lot to be desired. Click "Your Settings" Click "Personal Ad Settings" on the top right. Show Advertisement: Y Pro Top/Bottom: N Select US Select NM Orientation: Owner/Dom Profile Type: Male Looking For: Female Ad Title: fill in what you want to say Click the update button DarkSado Edited 6 Jul 10, 5:01 AM by DarkSado 5 Jul 10, 11:34 PM 333-528-841 CA, 3 yrs Actually, I have seen people place ads on the boards for house slaves, cockholds, Mistresses, Masters, Donimants, you name it, It's been there. Really it has, no sense saying so otherwise. Most have been reported to admin. and therefore taken off the boards, as, like it says at the top of the board reply "Do not place personal ads to the web boards." Probably why you may not have seen them. I think the point is though... that if you click that little button on your profile settings that says "Show as Advert" voila, that's what will happen. It's near the top, almost in the middle of the page. I didn't know about your post before today. Are you aware that you can send memo's? I have seen many Personal Ads on most boards. I refuse to believe all of these ads were written by stupid people. After having been on TSR for some years now, I know where to look (most of the time). However, I remember very well how messy it all looked at first, second and third sigbt. I will memo Tanos. English is not my first language. For many here it is difficult to express their feelings. I did change the wording a little bit a few weeks ago. but as far as I can see, I still have no ad up anywhere. if this is not so, please somebody direct me to the place where I can see my own ad. as far as the button in the center. there is no such button. period.
