If you read my post (the first reply to the OP), you'll see I was talking about the non-consensuality in the OP's scenario rather than its illegality.

you are right - I read too quickly. But I believe BDSM is (usually) assault in law. I do it so it's not a criticism. As for consensual slavery, I am not sure. Is selling a slave even with her/his consent illegal?
