I don't think either of you has thought this trough. It's not so much you as him. He could have a heart attack or a stroke. The building could catch fire while he is out. What happens to you then?
If you were in a household where there are others about, then it wouldn't be such an issue. However, if there is only the two of you, something might happen to him, then you are trapped and will die of thirst.
Just over 3 years ago I had minor stroke, if my girl had been caged she wouldn't have been able to get to the phone to call an ambulance and get me to hospital.
Caging is a very erotic idea but it's the practicalities of it. And you have to be practical

One of the ways that my slave and I enjoy caging is that we don't do it all of the time. There are times I'll keep her in a cage for an entire weekend and I'll leave the room to do things that I enjoy (wood working, toy making, etc)
However while I do leave her alone in the cage, she can open the cage at any time. In the cage is a keysafe such as one can get at any Home Depot or Lowes or other hardware stores. This keysafe is openable with a 4 digit code that we have always used (it's the same one as the one outside on the porch in case we lose or forget our keys)
To keep her from using the key whenever she damn well wants to, I put on the safe a security sticker. If she needs to get out, she can remove the sticker (I fold down one end to make a easy-to-remove tab).
However should she do that, the sticker leaves a residue that makes it very evident that she has done so and that she had better have a darn good reason for doing so. It takes her less than 15 seconds on a bad day (less than 10 on a good day) to get out of the cage.
There is also a robe and slippers next to the cage in case she needs to leave the house in a hurry as well as the weather radio that turns itself on in case of an emergency (tornado, hurricane, etc).
The other thing is while I'll leave her in shackles while she's out of the cage, I remove the shackles so in the unlikely event of something, she can free herself and get to safety. |

As most people have already warned about the dangers this comes with i will not do that.
Just as you might panic in the event of an emergancy and not being able to get out of the cage you just as well might panic and fall while running trou the house trying to get out.
As long as there is a simple fast way to get out of the cage i see no problems.
For the physical part of it i would recommend a box rather then a coffin especially since you will be there for longer periods. Tn that way you can stretch various muscles at a time and move around a bit.
But what are you suppose to do in the cage? Meditate on all ways to be a good slave? :P Days could get very long when left without anything to do. In the long runt that might be unstimulating. Perhaps your Owner will leave you educational books that will give you new skills in your service?

Everyone here keeps talking about safety and getting out in an emergency which are both very valid concerns. Using one of the throw away numbered master lock luggage tags work well and they can be broken with rough tugging and they are numbered so it is easy to tell if it has been taken off and tried to be replaced. You can find them at: http://www.enforcedobedience.com/store/index.php...
Another great idea is use one of those foldaway cloth crates for large dogs in an emergency if you have to get out and have trouble opening it you can tear out the mesh sides and get out plus they are cheaper than metal and fold into small compact circles. You can get them at almost any pet store and even walmart here is a link to one for Less than $35!: http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?produc...
For more fun they have a stand with wheels you can buy to tote the crate around could be fun for home Link for that:http://www.walmart.com/ip/Midwest-Pets-Pet-Crate...
A short true story that was passed to me and I will pass to you I will leave out the names of the people involved:
A loving Master decide one day he was going to make a quick trip, as usual he locked his adored slave in her metal cage with a pad lock and assured her he would be back in a few hours. He took his personal plane out on a trip that was supposed to be only a couple hours and had crashed, news of this event and of what happened took a couple days to reach a friend of his who knew about his lifestyle and his slave. Upon hearing the news his friend rushed to his house to free the Masters slave which thank goodness had a snack and plenty of water but had no means to escape and had been trapped in her own filth for the whole time. After some very needed TLC and some counseling by close friends from the scene she was able to find another Master to care for her, but she was very lucky that her Masters friends had come to her rescue as she had no close relatives or neighbors that would have known she was in trouble.
Moral of the story: No matter how good Masters intentions and how well loved his slave, Crap happens, so it is always best to err on the side of caution for a Master's first duty to his property is to make sure that it is safe and well cared for.
Another thing to, it is always a good idea to let a close trusted friend or relative know if you are planning on leaving your slave caged in case an emergency arises and have a plan so your slave can get a hold of you in an emergency such as a cell phone only to be used for that purpose.
I hope you have fun in your plans and all goes well!

In regards as far as safety for an emergency i would build it out of metal and make one corner or the top were it has pins that can be remooved in case of emergency or a plastic lock style lock around it so he can tell if you have tampered with it but there is some trust in the master slave role he knows if he gives you a command you will follow through with it so i think just a couple of remooveable pins would work as far as the shape why not work with him and make a coffin style cage but larger then you so that its not so tight to you and if you make it out of metal you can make it with mesh sides so you can see everything around you so it seems more open than it is plus if you use metal you can make each piece separate so that once you need it apart you just break it down till you need it out again but i think the coffin shape would be good that way if you need to sleep you can with plenty of room |

this is giving you more room than you would like but what about a lock on a door.. bedroom or just the outside doors.. your Master could put somthing on the outside so if moved he knows you gave left where he put you, but you move around stopping circlation problems.. clean house and cook his tea while he is out.
Then the whole house is your cage or room and you just need a key to get out if you need to. |

Obviously this has been discussed a lot... but have you thought of a bit more "high tech" of a solution? I'm a bit of a tech junkie, and have often thought about using something as simple as Skype set up on a computer facing me while another is somewhere else watching me in my misery, pleasure, etc. This is a free service, and all you really need is 2 web-cam enabled computers. Heck, your master could even not have a web cam on his but be able to watch you.
There are also services out there where your Owner could set up a security web cam on your unlocked cage (again, it is the mental confine more than the physical as many other have said) and be able to watch you whenever he pleases via the web. You will know he could be watching you any minute, and the door could be left unlocked so that if you absolutely need to in an emergency, you could get out. Google "remote video surveillance"... here is one example too http://www.wilife.com/About/Anywhere.aspx
These types of systems are getting significantly more cost accessible and could make for a great alternative... and wouldn't your master LOVE to see you without you knowing and in your cage?
Stay safe and enjoy! |
