I am on a weight loss mission and I just lost 54 pounds and 16 to go, well, when I was heavier, Amo could not get my hands behind my back, it was too uncomfortable for me, now that I am smaller, I can get them together more comfortably, but, he can not get them close together. So I can slip out because the rope is more on my hands than on my wrists themselves. I am only 16 pounds away from my ideal weight so I do not know if it istill a weight problem stopping my wrists from being closer or what is going on.... anyone else have this problem? Amo wants my hands tied behind me, what can I do to fix this? Is 16 pounds more enough to make it hard yet? Amo and I are so frusturated!!!! HELP! Is there maybe an exercise or something.

Greetings.....

Congratulations on the weight loss.

You can look into using cuffs instead of rope. That will secure your wrists behind your back and still leave the bit of space that you still need. I use Sport Cuffs (tm) for most of the restraining I do. I replace the clips they have with my own but otherwise they work well and they can be left on for hours or even (with checking) a couple of days. They won't work if he is into shibari but for keeping your hands out of the way they work fine. Also, in an emergency you can get out of them. They are held on by a velcro strap. Suggestion...buy two pair. One for the wrists and one for the ankles.

Otherwise, the problem may be in your upper chest and back area that is keeping your wrists from coming together or crossing. Stretching the arms and shoulders can help as well to enable you to get into the position he wants.

Be well....

i'm going to sound like a broken record but... have you tried yoga? its a great way to improve your flexibility and its also great cardio and toning. i'm over wiehgt and am just starting my weight loss journey and have the same issue as you with my wrists not quite being able to cross either but when i'm doing yoga a few times a week i have noticed im closer to getting them crossed. just an idea that may work.

Thank you and good luck on your weight loss. Just wanted to tell you the diet I am on and it works great! My friend helped me. Eat 200 cals every 2 hours 6 times a day. It is how I lost 54 pounds so far! Good luck to you and thanks for the advise.

:)

Why is it so essential your wrists must be touching? There are ways to use rope to bind hands behind back which could leave space and not allow you to wriggle out.

Regardless of weight and yoga not everyone has the same capacity for flexibility. You might find that it's just not possible, as for some people it won't be - it's related to proportions as well as potential flexibility

If dieting is desired then great, am just picking up on a practical point as I am confused as to why these things seem to be essentially tied together ;-).

i don't understand why the rope would be slipping, sure He is tying the rope to your new wrist size? What about tying it to one arm first then the other, or using left over rope to wrap around the middle so it becomes a rope version of handcuffs?

If your having difficulty because of being able to escape I suggest binding the elbows as well. There are plenty of ways to bind them that don't require them to be together.

If your binding the wrists binding the elbows will always help limit the potential for getting free.

Congrats on the weight loss :)

Amo says they have to touch or I can get out. I do not know why he says that.

I am sure it is true for the particular tie he wishes to use, which I am sure is a beautiful tie that he is imagining you safely contained in.

There are other ties which will work and put your arms in a behind you position, even if your wrists cannot touch, is all we are saying.

It may just be that he very much wishes to use this position/tie - I just think you both need to bear in mind that whilst yoga and dieting might make it possible you cannot guarantee anything as there are various positions some people can't do despite being as flexible as they can and slim.

The problem could also be minor muscular atrophy. I've seen it before where people lose weight without properly keeping up on protein and things like that. My suggestion is this: In addition to exercise and dieting, try to keep your protein up a little. Snack on some peanut butter with your lunch. If it's MA from lack of protein, it'll be solved quickly with a minimum of extra work... unlike eating for example: a fatty meat. (Please, no jokes on the last statement... I get where it can go, and is not funny when it comes to the possibility of M.A...)

Just 1 q: not to be personal, but have you noticed any differences in shape where your tits meet your shoulder? If so, it's definatly M.A. and may possibly become perminant. It happened to my best friend's slave because she dropped a ton of weight too fast w/o upping the protein levels
