I feel sorry for 913-898-746. It is a cold cruel world. Maybe someone just needs to tell him it is going to be alright because there is no sense crying when there is so much beauty being yourself. I hope that makes you feel better. Edited 16 Dec 09, 4:21 PM by PolygamistTestament

There is very little real-world application for "text" speak other than by people who are to lazy to actually type coherent sentences.
Job's won't hire you if you fill out an application in "text" speak or short worded texts.
You won't get through college that way.
if someone is to lazy to type coherently, what makes you think they won't be to lazy to ignore their slave or their slave to lazy to follow through on their promises and commitments?
I personally couldn't imagine being with someone who was to lazy to type regular old English and at least make an attempt at some-what decent grammar. |

I know, you've probably been told this a million times but be patient. It does take time and patience to find the right one in any relationship. Actually, by being patient you are ensuring you don't settle for less than you deserve.
All the best in your search.

I too am a newbie, so to speak and am finding it very difficult to even get replies or acknowledgement from prospective matches. While patience is a virtue, which i have, the new year has awakened my true desire to enter into a D/s lifestyle. However downhearted (is that right?) I become I still feel that eventually someone will maybe even find me. Optimism? It was a surprise to find that websites existed that catered for my (until now) unexplainable tastes. After this discovery, maybe anything can happen. Perhaps I'm not so abnormal after all!
desire is the holy grail sought first and most of all.

I have went through three M/s relationships and scened with several others, and just found the One believe it or not outside of the community.
You might stumble across this in your local supermarket, so keep your eyes out everywhere, not just at a play party or website.

I must agree with Sir Seven, but from the opposite side of the coin. I can not imagine being able to accept let alone respect a Man/Sir/Master who did not require of me, the very best I had to offer. Mangled and rudimentary English is a show (imho) of not only disrespect for the mother tongue of my country, but of the Man I would choose to be Master to me. I'm not speaking of the words that leave a subs/slaves mouth in play, but in the day to day discourse and communication between any and all groups of people. To require of another deciphering of your intents and meanings is a trial and disservice for and to the reader.
Language, both spoken and written/texted is the primary way we communicate who we are to others. How sad that we would allow others to see us as less than the best we have to offer..............v |

What unadulterated rubbish.

Yes, you've missed the fact that you do not have any right to define what all submissives should be or do.

How very sad that we may feel the need to critique in a manner that is debasing. Each individual is unique and communicates within their own capacity which does not make them any less or any greater than another. i appreciate the diversity that is within each communication. i personally see others as a whole and do not judge their worth based upon my own perceptions as i am not infallible.
It is interesting to see that there was incorrect usage of the English language and tenses by those who felt the need to correct from what i was able to read; just a personal notation.
i am curious is this not a community that embraces diversity, supporting those who are in need even when they are what is expected or desired? i wish the OP the best in his endeavor.

Interesting point. I addressed my comment, regarding those who can,and do not communicate the best way they know how. Not in reference to those who are doing the best they can, and can do no better.
I offer no judgment. I made a comment, expressly noted as (imho), to which I am entitled.
I watched my son struggle immensely with learning how to read and write effectively, having been diagnosed with a learning disorder. I watched as his world opened up to him in direct relation to his ability to communicate effectively.
Had he and I not struggled to bring him higher in ability, he would have remained on the bottom rung of life's citizens. He is a decorated US Marine, who was able to excel, because he was able to communicate effectively, with the world around him.
One is judged rightly or wrongly, often times solely on their ability to communicate.
If a person is content to remain where their abilities have them placed, fine. If they wish to rise higher in capability and benefit, then they will make the effort to rise to the occasion......imho......v Edited 15 Jul 10, 7:07 PM by valhalla
