Another possible use? I totally agree with this. My Master bought me a large dog cage a while ago and when He puts me in there i totally relax instantly. A while ago we had an intense play session and at the end my emotions were almost overwhelming. He calmed me down by holding me for a while, but i still wasn't back to earth completely till He put me in my cage. I calmed down the minute He locked the door. It's amazing, but it somehow works for me and feels great! My Master also uses the cage sometimes to put me back in slave mode when we have had a lot of vanilla time and it's time to be His slave again. Sometimes i struggle a bit to make the switch and at those times a short period in the cage always helps straight away. I love my cage! Whenever owner puts me in my cage, my world gets a whole lot smaller and much less complicated. It is a peaceful, relaxing time for me. I sleep very well in my cage. The difference being is that I have one of those key safes *1* in their cage with tamper proof tape *2* so I can always tell if they went out without my permission. If they tell me up front that they did and had a good reason (case in point, a case of Montezuma's Revenge) then the punishment will be mild and likely be less of a punishment and more of a "punishment". If they tell me and it was an emergency...then no punishment will be dealt. If they do not tell me and I find out...then the punishment will be a little more severe. In any case I never leave them alone for more than a couple of hours and never bound while in their cage.
