my Master allows me to do it some, but there are a lot of rules about what i can say and how i can say it to make sure that He is respected at all times and i am always aware of my position.

i love it and wouldn't have it any other way. my Master prefers paper journaling better though, He likes to look into my soul

'What are you?' I inquired. 'A slave girl,' she said. 'What is your duty?' I asked. 'Absolute obedience,' she cried out."

Great post!

i do find blogging a bit of a therapeutic release. I am a newbie sub to the lifestyle and my self awakening at the hands and feet of my Master has been a long and onerous journey - but also most rewarding.

i look back at some of the earlier posts that i have submitted - and i find myself a bit ashamed at my ineptness... as hindsight is 20/20. i see how bratty i was... how confused... and above-all how patient and understanding my Master was. He has always been true to his word - although things progress on His timeline NOT mine.

Most interesting in my reflections was the point that Sir became Master. i found that a very rewarding moment of reflection when that came to fruitation. It was a subconscious change - yet i didn't notice until i reread some of my posts.

So anyways...blogging is definitely a great thing for me... and i am glad to see for you too!

i have mentioned to Master that i have a diary/blog ... but when He is ready i will let Him know which one. If and when he collars me ... then He will have access to my diary. Until then - it is a record of our shared history that i get to pen :)

I have a paper journal I write in freestyle, no holds bar, everyday. I also have an online diary for when I want to work on an issue to have it make more sense. I also have a very private webblog, that is shared only with my Master's approval. It tends to be more written type assignments about topics of interest. Master has access to all forms of journaling I do if he is interested. I still find my paper journal the best.

I have a blog, but it's not lifestyle related. Just about my experiences moving to another country, etc. I keep an online diary for myself and my Master for lifestyle related things.

One of the last tasks i was given before i was released was to blog once a week. A couple of months ago i started this once a week blog but its to help change my destructive behavior. It holds me accountable for everything i do both good and bad because i am very honest. As a result it keeps me out of trouble because i do not like the humiliation of posting i screwed up. my blogs are open to everyone. its turned out to be a great tool for me as i do not have someone keeping me inline.

Take care, naughty

I have allowed Mine to have a public blog for a couple of years now....Why public?....Private blogs seem to be written in more of a diary style (to the Owner) where a public blog, since going to be read by other slaves does lend for more true inner feelings from the slave along with interaction...Of course interaction is controlled to the extent that only those that are owned/collared, and approved by his/her Master and Myself gains access. It has proved to be a helpful tool in developmental monitoring of My slave and has also been beneficial to those who read it as she is quite knowledgable in all areas that is touched upon. It also exposes her to many varied styles of Mastering and fetishes which can be a pro or con depending on how confident One is in their abilities to discuss the inevitable questions which arise. I have found it 100% positive after the 2 years and do plan on continuing the practice...

Respectfully, MeluthTur

As I have previously stated in another thread, I'm not big on journaling (nor reading them, quite honestly). I have attempted it over the years, but found it does not suit my personality type (I guess that's the reason). Fortunately he does not require this of me, as he would much rather talk than read (there is a reason for this). Suffice to say, our spoken communication is excellent (and I do not mean that those who journal have poor spoken communication), and while we may 'slip up' with this occasionally, we are able to get back on track (etc.) very quickly. I guess it helps to have a memory like an elephant, which he does (though mine tends to be a little selective :-D).

If journaling works for 'you', I can understand the benefits and I see no reason why it would not be encouraged (supposing one controls the journal and not the other way round).

When Master and i began he instructed me to start a blog...He of course has full access to it ..but He has also allowed it to be public. It is a wonderful way to sort out any issues i may have.(even tho it was very hard to write about anything at first) Master pointed out not long ago that reading my posts from the begining...he can see where changes have taken place..And it makes Him happy to watch me grow in my slavery to Him. here is my link if anyone is interested. http://hismountaingirl.blogspot.com

Allowing Slaves to Blog? Does anybody else allow their slave to blog?

Before i met Master, i had 2 vanilla blogs.

He allowed me to keep my vanilla activity, sometimes, requesting some type of post to be uploaded {e.g. "Make a reference to this session in your vanilla blog!"} although it's discrete.

Then, He ORDERED me to start a BDSM blog, which has several purposes:

a) He can read it at work / during travel, using His mobile phone. It's a way of communication.

b) He can get to know me better reading my thoughts.

c) i nag Him less and don't fill His mailbox with so many things.

d) He can find ways to expose / exhibit / humiliate me, through the blog. For example, making my punishment public, showing it off to certain people etc.

e) Some of His female "friends" can see Him, through my eyes. :)
