I agree with both sides of this discussion, although as at the time I didn't know the full details of the I tended to lean more to Raven's take. I have had my slaves around people that I (like Raven) had to deal with but weren't too dippy about my girls. I tried to defuse the catty attitude of them, but made my girls stay there. If nothing more, it showed an unified front that not only I, but my girls as well thought that the person was being a horse's ass. But since the clarification indicates that the Master was offended by the behavior of this third person, he as the Master had the right to do whatever the heck he pleased. If that meant removing you from emotional harm and getting pissed off at this other person...as Master it's his right. Always try to keep a think skin and always put on a good face for your Master, but at the same time don't think of yourself as being a factor in the equation. If your Master wants to look out and care that much for your emotional well being, then I'd suggest thanking him for being the person he is and make it something special. That, and count your blessings for having a good one. I know that if anyone started ripping into my girls, friends or not I'd rip back into them. Hell I've done it once. It's funny, but with my Master i kind of feel like it is us, together against the world. He is always saying,"i watch your back, you take care of mine...". I can't imagine letting someone get in the middle of our relationship. I was married before i met my Master and i feel much closer to my Master and much more secure in this relationship than i ever did in my marriage. I'm sure , however, i would feel the same way in your situation , since i hate any kind of turmoil like that. Your Master did the right thing.
