Wed 17 Jun 09, 7:04 AM 333-528-841 CA, 3 yrs Summer has finally arrived in the Great White North! I am sure that others not so far north are thinking the same thing. Isn't it great? Summer can make me feel like a kid again!! Every year, I see the same things with new wonder.It's almost like a yearly renewal.... Canada Geese with their goslings swimming in a pond, beautiful sunsets after 11 at night (I work really north of nowhere),leaves on the trees and wildflowers blooming. Don't you just love: no coats, bare feet, sandals, the warmth of the sun on your face, hummingbirds, the smell of fresh cut grass????? It's HOT here. And our A/C kicked the bucket this evening, so tomorrow I get to sit and wait for the repair guy to show up and fix it. Because I'm the only one going to be home, apparently. Which means that I have to wait that much longer to see Master. Sad, but necessary. I lived in the tropics for 12 years and can relate to what you said. I now live with at least 6 months of winter and temperatures going to -40 and colder. Go figure!! When in Cyprus I'm the air conditioning. I have to stand beside My Lady and fan her. That's what slaves are for. Fanning him would take away from more practical things, like taking care of O/our toddler, doing the mending, and running errands. So, yup - air conditioning all the way! We are both over 60, me by a good ten years. LM has to choose then, continue fanning or send Slave on an errand. These are not decisions for me to make. Talking of which, er, what's a decision?
