Some questions i have for subs; Do you look at this as a spiritual journey as i have learned from others who live this lifestyle? Is your only pleasure derived from satisfaction for your master? Tell me a little about how you came to realize this was right for you. (If you would like anyway.) And all you Doms out there; Hi! Have you at any point been a sub before turning to being dom? What made you decide to change? How much of yourself do you share with your sub/slave/pet/property? What indicated to you the difference between the sub/slave/pet/property categories? I look forward to getting to know all of you. andi 11 Jun 09, 10:47 PM Kay_kay US(NY), 3 yrs Well, I/i'll try to answer here what I/i can but I/i warn you, M/my views may seem a little odd as I/m both a Mistress and a pet. Personally, I/i don't see it as a spiritual journey. Some do, some don't, it's all a matter of personal views. I/i find pleasure in a lot of things but, yes, pleasing Master is very pleasurable to me. my submissive side came very much to the fore around both my Master and Mentor. It wasn't so much something i became as it was something i always was that was just finally released. For the questions to Doms: I/i was collared before I/i even contemplated becoming a Mistress. The decision to become what I/i am now was not fully M/mine. My pet requested to become My pet and, when I/i spoke to my Master and Mentor about it, Both said that it was a good idea. my Master actually ordered me to take My pet as My pet. His only other instructions were to have fun and do M/my best to take proper care of M/my pet. my Mentor helped guide me into accepting the dual role of M/myself and even embracing it which is where I/i am now. What one shares with the other part of the dynamic, regardless of the role is up to each individual dynamic. It is up to the people and is individual just like most things. There are definitions of each sub category and you can find them on the wiki. However, again, each s-type's serve is personal and each will define themselves according to their own personality and beliefs. Don't get bogged down in definitions. What you are is what you are and will not always fit any set category. As long as you and whoever you are in a dynamic with understand what Y/you are to each other...definitions and labels don't matter. The SD Wiki is used to keep confusion out of all the definitions. It also keeps differing opinions from escalating in the posts. (If you would like anyway.) andi Hi andi First of all, welcome aboard. Now, how did My Lady become my owner? and how did I become her slave? I'll not go into the minutae of "she did this and I did that" but will say that we both were ripe for our roles at the time. Lady Mistress to be was having a bit of a confidence crisis at the time and needed to be more in control. I, for my part have always had to play a lead role and the idea of submitting to another's will was not without its attractions. We have both found the experience liberating in that she has a sub who won't question unless his opinion is sought, and I just do as I'm told and go along with whatever Lady Mistress wants. We meet up from time to time and I get down to some serious slaving but most of the time we keep in touch by phone, e-mail etc. We have set protocols which are followed to the letter so that despite the LDR and all its drawbacks the M/s relationship is kept very much alive. It is a true paradox, slavery is freedom, hence my signature quote. To be a true slave is to be truly free Slave/Sklavos
