Fri 8 May 09, 1:46 AM Todtbe US, 3 yrs Hey, this is my first real post here on SD! and let me just say first that this site is awsome. Now onto the subject of the post. I am a real big paintballer, with well over $1500 spent on my gear alone. For those that don't play, being shot by a paintball is not the most pleasent of things. At medium range it hurts and often leaves a welt or brusie that will last for a day or two. At close range it will often brake the skin, leave a more serious bruise, and can leave a small temporary scar. Paintballs also have a very, very disgusting taste. My question is if anyone here has used paintballs in any form of punishment, or if the method seems to have any merit to it as a punishment. 8 May 09, 3:22 AM 708-288-240 US(MS), 3 yrs Please don't do that to people. There are chemicals in paint that act as a laxative or will just make you puke your brains out for a while. Trust me. I play paintball and I ref every weekend. Being a pro paintballer for many yrs i do not think this is a good idea i dont care how much you spend on gear putting this on here gives out the idea of ppl doing this and not being safe about eating the balls ive had my share of paint its not that good i agree there being shot close range been there and a very bad idea if you can help it i really messed up the nerves in my hand for over a week with no feeling and the welt the size of a tennis ball so anyone reading these posts leave the paintball stuff on the field and not on your subs/slaves Edited 8 May 09, 4:09 AM by DaddyJustin 8 May 09, 4:17 AM Todtbe US, 3 yrs It seems as though I have managed to offend some poeple here based on the tone of the responses I am reviving and aplogize if the way in witch I worded the post is responsable for this. I ment no harm and was asking for the very porpose of making sure I didn't do anything stupid. Once again I am sorry if I offened anyone. At this point I would appreciate it if could just let this thread die quitely, so much for a good first imprestion. I get the impression that this is something that is great in fantasy, but is best left to the fantasy.... I do love the idea though! Owner of nika. I used to have tormentors as a child who liked paintballing, and once or twice they hit me with their paintball guns. But Under even one layer of cloth at 5-12 ft they only sting with a small welt. So at 20~ ft with proper FACE protection... or maybe backside only, this isn't THAT bad. We just want to make sure un-educated people don't cause damage with an idea that can quickly escalate out of hand. 10 May 09, 2:22 PM Todtbe US, 3 yrs Pyro, what you are talking about is exactly what I was thinkng. Shot inthe back from a good distance, with all involved wearing paintball masks. I only added the whole "eating the paint" just to see what others thought of it, I honastly had no idea that the paint had laxitives in it. After I was told that I did some more in depth research, in hindsight something I should have done from the start, not that hindsight ever helped anyone. Hopfuly a mistake I will not make before my next post. I actually just got back from a tourney, 300 FPS all the way and even at a distance one good shot...man its smarts...but yeah eating eh not so much...it'll be gross no matter what you do to it :P It hurts so good.
