My slave and I have only had one dildo (a strap-on, they're so fun!) before. It is kind of old now, we both want to try something new and... It broke. Not from us doing anything wild, but because it was used so much :P Anyway, we've seen glass dildos on a sex toy TV show and I thought they looked fun, pretty and interesting... And scary. This question is SO embarressing, but I need to make sure toys are safe for my girl and I... So... Has anyone ever heard of a glass dildo breaking inside of the body? Also, after reading the one thread about some toys being dangerous, I also want to ask if anyone has... Ever heard of a glass toy causing ANY problems? Even minor ones? Those are the most important questions. However, I was also wondering... How do glass toys feel? At first glance, I thought "How could that feel good?!" but my slave and I have heard some rave reviews. And does anyone have any that they recommend? Master can warm it up to make it feel better (hot water not microwave) or He can chill it (body heat warms it back up fast). the glass they use to make those items is a very very strong type, i "think" its stronger than Pyrex. its smooth, no chance of cuts. accordin to user reviews i have read, people have dropped it on wood or tile floors without a problem. (inspect it when you get it for any defects & stick to the directions on care & use.) i think you pretty much have to slam it as hard as you can or smack it off of the corner of somethin hard to break it. the one i have has an end for vaginal use & one designed for anal. & of course since its made of a non porous material it is cleaner & wont melt/change shape like some soft toys do when they are stored with other soft ones or are just plain old. its a lifetime investment! lol i definitely have another one on my wish list, this one curves just a bit. ohhhh maybe for my birthday i say go for it & get one ~peace the sting of His whip~ the welts from His crop~ the warmth of His kiss~ the click of the lock~ assures me i am His most cherished possession.. But you need to watch out for a few things. First off I wouldn't use a glass toy on any strapons. They're simply too hard and unforgiving. Glass has zero give and with enough force behind it, can do damage to your slave. Instead go with the glass toys with handles and work them in slowly and methodically. Sesations with glass toys are much more intenense and take less pressure and movement to excite and pleasure. Lastly as my slave pointed out. You just need to work with glass toys slowly with your partner, communicating what feels good and what hurts way too much. They are great fun, and we love them. Personally I find glass butt plugs to be many times better than other butt plugs. Glass dildos are great aswell if you keep the above mentions of how unforgiving they are. 27 Apr 09, 2:58 PM Skruddgemire US(MD), 3 yrs Frankly the ones made of Borosilicate Glass (fancy non-trademarked name for Pyrex) are damn near indestructable. To break a pyrex pot, I had to drop it on another Pyrex pot from a height of 7 feet (it was in the cabinet). To break one of these or even to chip it would involve hitting it against metal (and not just sheeting, I'm talking about seriously thick stuff), rock, or concrete. Frankly unless someone is Wonder Woman or a native of the planet Krypton...I can't see any way of breaking one in someone's nethers. As for comfort? To each their own and it depends on the size that the person can handle...just like any other dildo/buttplug.
