I don't think a general munch would be a good place for a meet-up btw: I've tried that in the past and you just get swamped. There a few TPE people around in this area but not many. We too find we are too 'extreme' or too serious in most places online, have been looking for a more M/s UK based website or board (to the point of thinking of creating one - the TSR is great but we want to meet M/s couples in the UK) to be able to chat easily on.(I have no restrictions on what I see or reply to within reason being a switch and having an uncollared male sub of my own) We do take our lifestyle seriously, but are not so up our own asses that it 'dominates' our entire lives. We all have to compartmentalise, but my ownership is there at the back of my head, all the time, and I know my Master feels the same way. I am not sure what the answer is but would be happy to be involved in some more M/s uk based chat/events/etc and please feel free to memo us and we will happily participate. Incidentally, http://www.masterslave.org.uk/ is still up with the pointers to the UK M/s stuff I'm aware of (I'd welcome any more.) This includes a link to the old Master-slave-uk mailing list dating back to January 2000, which was resurrected as an announcements list back in 2007 for the TSR meeting we had in London. I've made a post on it to alert people there to this thread.
