In Norse mythology, Fimbulvetr is the immediate prelude to the events of Ragnarök. Fimbulvetr is three successive winters where snow comes in from all directions, without any intervening summer. SEE HERE Long story short... we have had snow on the ground since mid October, and there is no end in sight. There is permanent frost, so all lakes are frozen and we can go skating and get frozen noses. And tis wonderful dull grey sky we have for weeks now. Vegas just has nothing like this! Me? Envious? Now way (gets bright red in the face) Andrin 29 Jan 09, 7:54 PM thegildedlili 3 yrs and not to derail the thread any further, and i know the grass is always greener on the other side, but i'm seriously melting here! we have had a week of 40 degree celsius plus temperatures, (104 degrees farenheit), and another week forecasted of the same, i want some snow! and remember, what happens in vegas stays in vegas! i have no need, for such things, but to make you happy... My birthday is mid-October. Usually, where I grew up, there'd be a foot of snow all ready then. It melted like... third and fourth week of May. I do not miss Northen Sweden! About two weeks ago temperatures dropped to -37.7C (-35.8F) degrees up there. Back to topic! Besides gambling, hookers and drinking, and CSI - what does one do in Las Vegas?!
