Anjuli:

Yay! Sounds like you're doing great with the bread.

Soapnuts are the shit, man. Ehrm... well, woman. Anyway. For regularely dirty materials (dusty, sweaty, muddy), they're awsome. We've got hard water here, so laundry usually turns out just coarse, but with the soapnuts... there's nothing softer!

For fatty stains, like kitchen-towel stains, I still use the laundry nuts, but I rub the spots with my laundry soap stick. Sometimes, when the whites look a bit dingy, I run them through with regular washing powder...

In 30, 40 and 60C, the soapnuts are wonderful. When I do 95 degrees (which I don't do often, because I don't need it and it's a bitch... takes almost two hours!), I use laundry powder.

Our blacks, and we have a lot of blacks, just... stay black! :-D Btw, is it just my Owner or do yours also prefer wearing same-looking clothes? I just hung eight, identical black t-shirts... *scratches chin*

For any unnessecery cursing, I blame my Owner. He's playing Saint's Row 2, accompanied by saying things best not mentioned online.

With short nails and a like of sweating, one can turn a California King-size mattress on their own.

Except on stage 3, I had to stand on the lower beds and fold the mattress over itself like an n, to be able to do it.

Once it was on place, I lost my remaining dignity and whooped.

Thankyou everyone for the deer repelling tips so far :)

Hey, does anyone know how to wax a table?

We've got a beautiful shesam sofa-table, that gets sort of worn out after a few months. I've just added a coating of the wax that came with the table, but I'm not all happy. That's because there's a spot, just where Master keeps his plate/pizzabox/keyboard, where the wax has worn off. Even with the new coating, it's still "wood-y" rather than smooth like the rest of the table.

I'm thinking of buying wax-stripper and more wax, and stripping the tabletop before adding a few coats of wax. Does that sound like an idea?

If I could only get Master to go with me to the furniture store, we could get rid of that horrible couch as well... ;)

Hi Sanna

The stuff I use on old/antique furniture and that was recommended by my carpenter is Linde Antikwachs (see http://www.shop.antik-versandhaus.de/index.html?.... But don't know if you find it in Sweden.

I waxed with Black Bison transparent (here: http://www.entravard.net/ytskydd.htm, third one from the top)...

Just curious about how to go about waxing, what I did now was just scooping out a dollop of wax on a cloth, and rubbing it with the grain, and then polishing with another cloth. ;)

that's exactly what I do - if no slave is handy that I can make it do - naked - and raped when he's finished

edited to add: when the surface of the furniture (normally a table top) shows an uneven distribution of old wax, I take an old cloth and a warm iron and get as much of the old wax out as possible - if no slave is handy that I can make it do - naked - and raped when he's finished

Does anyone know what material and weave makes the softest and gentlest towels? Besides microfiber, that is.

I'd like to find towels to put beside Master's bed, for Those dreams. I usually put out a towel, but I think the current ones are becoming too old, as they're stiff just to hold, no matter how much effort I put into them being soft. He really, really hates the feel of microfiber (not the dusting kind, the kind that's like chamois leather), so I can get that... *ponders*

Oh, and of course we're all Domestic Gods and Goddesses, but I'd still like to share how to fold a t-shirt in 2 seconds. :)

We use the fabric nappy liners - very soft, easy to wash and dry, lightweight - and very absorbent *grin*

Why didn't I think of that! Cheers, Boston! Women on another forum (who use fabric sanitary pads during their menses) have mentioned that before... I must ask them where they buy their materials.

His bits are very very important to me, and I'd like to keep them as happy as possible. ;) Sore bits does not one happy Master make.
