My pet is under orders to notify me whenever she is required to change her passwords, so that I may give her a new password to use. It's generally something along the lines of "iwillobey" or "idohiswill", so every time she has to login while at work, she is basically reciting this to herself in her head over and over again.

My current slave is only just getting to a place that I feel she should have a mantra.
I had my prior slave write one, however, specifically for those times that she was having difficulty finding her slave-self. She found this very useful.
I think it was good to have her write it herself so that they were her own words coming from her mouth. This might not be so important if a slave is saying her mantra every day, but because its purpose was connecting her to her submission in times of trouble, I think the truth of her psalm was more inarguable for being her own, previous thoughts. A reminder from herself of who she wants to be.
She was a very spiritual person so I told her to write a psalm. I think something about that familiar, worshipful cadence helped put her in the correct headspace. It was: I am my owner's cunt to do with as he pleases His will and whim are my focus I suffer his corrections with joy, they guide me to his intentions My body welcomes his pain and bends towards it I am ravenous with desire to please
Isn't that sweet?
My new slave is having trouble coming up with one so I am going to ask her to write an essay on what various things – slavery, me, gratitude – mean to her and then we will distill that down into a mantra

My slave is required to recite the Tao verse posted below, while kneeling beside My bed every night before sleep.
Jesse
The Paradox of Letting Go- verse from The Tao
" When i let go of what i am, i become what i might be.
When i let go of what i have, i receive what i need.
These are the feminine or Yin paradoxes: *
By yielding, i endure.
*
The empty space is filled.
*
When i give of myself, i become more.
*
When i feel most destroyed, i am about to grow.
*
When i desire nothing, a great deal comes to me. "The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy." -- Martin Luther King, Jr.

No, but it sounds like a great idea !
i have a few personal ones though - one of my favorites is from the book Dune - the chant of the Bene Gezeret "witches", which is different in the book than in the movie, it goes like this, as i've adapted it for my use.
"i must not fear, fear is the mind-killer, fear is the little death that brings complete anhililation. i will face my fears, i will let them run over me and through me, and when the fear is gone, there will be nothing, only i will remain"
This could be changed to "only S/He will remain or the Owner/Dom's name. it is esp. useful when stretching the envelope of Y/your play in a way that's hard for the slave/sub!

I can't help thinking how appropriate this is, albeit with a little tweaking to suit
There have been previous posts on other threads from masters and slaves alike, generally about the slave fretting, stressing, worrying and becoming unfocused. One of my favourite mantras to use is the Gayatri Mantra. I realise this is of religious background, but if you're that way inclined it's also very wonderful.
All of that aside, at the very least it is a beautiful, calming and focusing chant that helps one regain their centre. By the time you're finished with it, in a calm environment I would imagine that you'd be calm, serene and focused once more. Works for me, anyway |

I have had my slave recite a contra before bed and at waking. It is up to you to develope the mantra you wish recited.
It is a reminder of who and what she is as well as insuring your place as well. |

Ryan had made mention of a mantra, and I quickly thought of the Rahl Devotion from The Sword of Truth series (Terry Goodkind), and well, it stuck. I've gotten many memos from people here, as it is a popular book series. Makes me wonder though if the popularity amongst U/us has anything to do with the Mord-Sith... Master Ryan guide me. Master Ryan teach me. Master Ryan protect me. In your light I thrive. In your mercy I am sheltered. In your wisdom I am humbled. I live only to serve. My life is yours.

I have to admit, the thought has crossed my mind...
The sul'dan, from Robert Jordan, as well.
