Hey, I saw a thread in this section about what is against the law. My question is how do you go about finding out what the laws are in your state. Is there a site or do you have to do a specific search? Thank you in advance for any and all help. Submissive to the greatest man alive...Master_Al. Posting with His permission. As far as I know most every state has a link to the states attorney or attorney general's office. Also you should be able to enter something like(state name) criminal codes. Either of these should get you started. some of the statutes titles may be; battery, false imprisonment, assault w/a weapon, rape, making pornography, sodomy, crimes against nature and others depending on the state.
Hope this helps. |

Thank you for that bit of information. I will be searching for it this weekend. My theory is you can never be too careful. Submissive to the greatest man alive...Master_Al. Posting with His permission. Always and forever Yours.

I forgot to mention that while checking things out don't forget the Federal Criminal Code. If it cross's a state
line or out of the country it becomes federal. That includes wire and wireless communications. You can find that by checking out the USC, under the federal Gov. |

Not all fedral laws are restricted to crossing state lines. Some can be and are inforced that stay in side of a state. It all depends on what it is. Edited 28 Sep 08, 2:35 AM by allalone47

Search using any of the multiple search engines on the internet. I saved a copy of New York States laws comcerning Assault and Sexual Abuse onto a disk for further reference, and also the link to other states and their laws.
I also keep updated with the local library. Just in case of emergency. |

i hate to say this, but i have no idea what lawss you are talking about - and having been my late Master's and my own advocate with many legal, bureaucratic, governmental etc. types of agency - including speaking for him at a city council meeting to get a handicapped parking space as well as in court on 3-4 occasions, once as plaintiff in small claims and the other with identity theft mixup and the "eviction" for non-payment of rent when we had all the receipts proving we'd paid at our old place- which cost them plenty - i've had some experience in this, including beating an attorney in the identity theft and might be able to help if i had a clue what you're looking for.
in a general way, Cornell University's Law Library can be accessed through the I-net, via a search engine as can certain others- so Y/you might want to pop in the name of a local Law School where Y/you live and just look it up. if one has an Associates Degree or better, it's usually something one can follow - if they're oriented to language/verbal skills more than math/science, anyways.
just a thought, hope it helps!

You might also note that several of these laws now have exceptions concerning consentuality or are no longer valid thanks to supreme court rulings. You might want to check those too. |
