I call my M Ryan most of the time, to friends and family, I say Him or His or He, and just the way I say it, they know who I am referring to. When He wants my full attention, I am expected to use Master or Sir. Someone had mentioned that they refer to their M/D/O as Christopher, where everyone else calls Him Chris... This is how I am, but with His name, there really is no difference. This got me to thinking, however, that Ryan has never called me Rose. Ever. At least not to me. He has always used baby, whore, slut, honey, bitch, or, my favorite, Boo-Boo. (Strangely, this was my childhood nickname, but He used it some time before He met my mother...) I also refer to Him as Daddy, but only when speaking to His daughter, or Super-Dad when speaking to my daughter. We are very open about our relationship, as I am Wiccan and used to getting strange looks anyways, so little things like His signature on text messages says Master Ryan, or the banner on my cell says Property of Master Ryan, or my tattoo that I will be getting soon will be scripted letters H.I.S. ... At first glance, it will seem to be a claim of ownership on His part, but it is the acronym I adopted over a year ago. Just little things, but they mean so much to U/us. Master Ryan guide me. Online i call Him 'Surr'...to denote my pronounciation (my irish accent) To other within the lifestyle i refer to Him as ' Himself' or Wicked as that is part of His scene name. In front of family and vanilla friends i use His given name when speaking to Him and again 'Himself' when referring to Him with others. I also call Him names such as Darling, Sweetheart but that can at times get me in trouble. He calls me whatever He chooses when alone..ranging from My sweet to My slut. He uses my given name in front of family and friends and cushla or my given name with lifestyle friends. He is relaxed and therefore does not mind what i call Him except when in strict D/s mode then i have to be very careful not to slip up.... that could be a painful thing...definitely keeps me on my toes and a good way to ground me. Whatever i call Him it is always respectful and we are always aware of the dynamics between us. Recently, i have been having some issues with calling my Dom "Daddy" all the time...i feel that it does not capture O/our bond as well as some other name might...To me, "Daddy" suggests that eventually i will have to leave the nest and be out on my own and i know that that is not what Sir Cloud sees for U/us in the future (thankfully) as He has decided to get me an eternity collar. i enjoy the age play that the name "Daddy" encourages, but to be in that mind space all the time has become a cause for concern and my presenting to Him the possibility to have something else be the more permanent and "all the time" reference to Him...but it is finding that perfect one that feels right...i don't know what that would be and i think my Daddy is deliberately letting me squirm with it b/c He has ordered me to come up with a few options for Him to consider as a result of my bringing this subject to His attention (He is such a loving Dom). So, please share, if you can, also the process of discovering your Dom's name- whether it was you as the slave or submissive who presented it to your Master, or if it was chosen by your Master Himself. i feel this will help tremendously. Whatever comes out of my mouth is what it is, ranges anything from: Sire, Daddy, Sir, Luv, Hun, etc... Same goes for him, he calls me whatever he likes. That way in public and around friends they would not think twice of her calling me that. We use the word Hun in place of Master. I am ok with it. She has used the word Master in emails and cards and such but not in person. I am ok with that. 12 Jun 09, 12:15 PM MasterBad UK, 3 yrs My subs always on greeting me refer to me as 'Master' then after ....in normal chatting 'Sir'.Only when intimate do, they use my birth name(not always grinns).Or if there is a problem , then I know there is need for a discussion. When it's just U/us, I call Him Master or, far less frequently, Husband. When W/we're together among other people, I mostly call hHm "baby," "honey," and "love," with a few other vanilla pet names. When I talk about Him here, He's usually Master. When I talk about Him to the people I know, I call Him by His given name. At work I call her ma'am or Ms. when we have are alone time I refer to her as Mistress.. Ms. normally calls Me by name but sometimes she calls Me by My nickname.. Squeak.
