I'm looking to teach my slave the Spanish language using the lifestyle. Any ideas on how soem of you would appruach this? Learning a language can be difficult. I taught myself. But everyone learns in a different way. Thanks

Hola!

Have you tried the Michel Thomas language CDs? He starts from the point that most modern languages have a shared stock of root words and it's possible to build up a sophisticated vocabulary in a short time by understanding how to transform English words into their equivalents in other languages.

I've only tried his French course myself but at the start of the second disk he asks "How would you say... 'what opinion do you have of the political and economical situation in France at the present time?'"

The 8 hour courses are pretty expensive but Amazon stocks them for about half the shop price.

As for building it into the lifestyle, let's see... pop the CD in, slave suitably bound, the disk reaches the *beep* point, you press pause and look expectantly across at your pupil. Did you forget to remove the gag? Seriously though you could rip them to MP3 and give them to your slave with targets to learn each one and then test at the end of the day. If you're self-taught then you'll have a head-start on grammar but you might find the CDs improve your own vocabulary.

Hope the above helps

no lo se, Senor, pero yo L/les espero que Vd. puede hacerlo en una stylo muy rapido y facil para ella

that is i don't know Sir, but i wish for Y/you that you are able to do it in a style that is quick and easy for her.

Yo enseno la lengua donde yo fui mas joven y espero que Vd. pueden me entender.

that is i learned the language when i was much younger and i hope that Y/you can understand me. My keyboard does not have the accents' symbols so forgive me for not including these.

i've been out of practice for a long time so i put the translation for You as well as for those who don't speak the language. The way i originally learned the language by practically living in the home of a neighbor - the first Hispanic family in our neighborhood or our block and those nearby at that time.. i taught her kids English so they could go to public schools in Sept. and in Sept. when i was assigned to a Spanish class in High School, she just stopped speaking English to me - she'd let her kids translate a word or two and she'd use gestures and i had the academic learning at school.

So i learned- i still retain a good bit of it, but have lost much of my fluency because i don't have anyone to practise it - practicar lo - with it. But i don't know if that's the best way to learn.

i know the Church my late Husband was ordained a Priest in also prepares their youthful missionaries to go overseas with a 6 week language course, then when they get to the place where they need the foreign language they partner them with another missionary whose been in that field and has got the language down pat, immersing them in the culture and language until they "get" it. Kind of like how i was taught - along with watching Spanish tv. etc.

Start with simple commands such as kneel, sit on the floor etc... Conversational Spanish will take time. Why Spanish? Why not French?

Either way go to the bookstore and look for a thick white book called 501 verbs for xxxxxx.. You can find one in Spanish, French and other languages. I recommend this book for several reasons. There are hundreds of useful phrases at the back of the book which are ver easy to learb. The front of the book shows you the grammer, alphabet and basic structure of the language.

The book also shows you ALL the verbs and how you to use them in the format I, you, he, she, they and we. Don't about the vosotros (formal we) in Spanish. It's very rarely used. One thing you will note... there are 14 verb conjugations in French and Spanish but today only seven are used. And they correspond nicely to the English form of the verb, example:

I go to the store or I AM going to the store I went to the store yesterday I will go to the store later today I would go to the store if I had money I could go to the store f I had a ride I can't remember the other two.

Also, Spanish vowels are really easy because they sond exactly the same in every word. No shorts or longs or silents and that crap.

When learning spanish... make notes.. write phrases how they sound... example... Mi nombre es Lorenzo

Me nome brey ess Lorenzo which means, My name is Larry

Remember this... In Spanish.....

A = ahhhhh I = eeeee E = ayyyy O = ohhh U = ewwww

That's it. Aprender Espanol es muy facil. Francais? yo no se.

Buen suerte!
