When I originally created my TSR profile (um... do we still call them that or are they SD profiles now? Side issue... back on track...) I created a slave profile and was successful in finding a master with whom I enjoyed a full month or so with before circumstances soured and I felt it best to leave. That led to a large amount of thinking over what I'd been through and rethinking what it was I wanted. As a result of all that self reflection and many discussions with someone who knew me before and during that month I came to the conclusion that I wanted the life of a Master, even if that requires time in the span of years for me to develop to that point.

Mmm... I've probably reached the point of too much information at this point, but anyway: as far as the site and profiles are concerned is it better if I just somehow change info on the currant profile, or make a new profile and either combine the two or delete the older one? Or something else I haven't considered?

Thanks in advanced.

I would say that if you are now on the path to Mastery, to up a new account that reflect it, even if just so that the search stuff ends up right and you don't have to explain to everyone why you have a slave number. You can explain that part of your life later, when YOU feel the time is right.

BTW, I know plenty of Doms and Masters who have spent time as slaves...even me...one of which has their slave bar code tattooed on the back of their neck.

I happen to be one of those slaves, and have the said barcode too.

As MF suggests, it'd be far better to have a cut-off point and relate back to 'tales of old', rather than trying to keep the old and link it all to the new stuff too - that could be messy.

For what it's worth, I haven't deleted My old profile here, for the facts that the posts are 'still' relevant, at least to Me - they tell a big story about a lot of My life and helped Me see a lot back then and still do in reflection, and as such have their own archive, and who knows, round some of the next corners in the future, My slave-ness may return (the very delicious masochistic side is still very much within at 'play-times' :-D), so where would I be without My number and code then?

New you, new profile, definitely...
