Greetings MastMattsslave,
I would suggest you read her journals - I think they come from those, but she has many published works. There are several volumes of her journals available. A search on Amazon.com should bring them up easily. I found my copies in a used bookstore.

Here are some quotes on leadership and mastery that I like:
"Power invariably means both responsibility and danger." - Theodore Roosevelt
"If you wish to know what a man is, place him in authority." - Yugoslav proverb
"Leadership is action, not position." - Donald H. McGannon
"Not to decide is to decide." - Harvey Cox
"The attempt to combine wisdom and power has only rarely been successful, and then only for a short time." - Albert Einstein
"I must follow the needs of the people. Am I not their leader?" - Benjamin Disraeli
"The hands of a King are the hands of a healer." -J.R.R. Tolkien
"No one can rule guiltlessly, and least of all those whom history compels to hurry." - Edgar Snow
"The question, "Who ought to be the Boss?" is like asking, "Who ought to be the tenor in the quartet?" Obviously, the man who can sing tenor." - Henry Ford, racist industrialist
"The brain says, "I am a ruler; the world belongs to those who rule." The sea remains slumbering, saying in its sleep, "All is mine."" - Kahlil Gibran
Hexagram of Great Power, from the Tai Yuan I Ching:
"Great power, when it befalls a person, is a true test of his character. What he says is heard, what he thinks is felt. He has the wherewithal to bring enlightenment and progress, or lead into chaos and evil. He can greatly further his own inner development, or completely exhaust himself. Therefore the man possessing Great Power is concerned with Correctness. You would be wise to pause and be certain that your objectives are honorable. Do not assume that your power indicates strength of character, nor that it justifies all your opinions and attitudes. This is just another test."
-Raven Kaldera -If you're in charge, it's all on your head. If it's not all on your head, then you're not really in charge.

Well I like a lot of those but this is wonderful! Thank you Raven.

I can think of some world leaders who would do well to ponder this and these parts in particular. Some should read it and weep!
Those who think that a sense of right and wrong, and ethics and morality derive only from organised western religions, or more particularly the judeo-christian or Abrahamic traditions, could learn much here too.
On a personal note , it also makes me very proud of the man who owns me to think on this and see him strive always to behave with honour.
anjuli ~~~ “I, with a deeper instinct, choose a man who compels my strength, who makes enormous demands on me, who does not doubt my courage or my toughness, who does not believe me naive or innocent, who has the courage to treat me like a woman.” - Anais Nin ~~~

This made me think of: "When a country obtains great power, / it becomes like the sea: / all streams run downward into it. / The more powerful it grows, / the greater the need for humility. / Humility means trusting the Tao, / thus never needing to be defensive."
Tao Te Ching, 61, Stephen Mitchell translation |

My Lady Mistress said as much to me that she cannot betray my trust in total surrender to her and feels she she must protect her slave as much as possible.
Is that why, I wonder, as a slave I feel so free? Slave/Sklavos
