It will be at least five years before I can live full time with my Master. I try not to think of it as "OMG! FIVE YEARS!" Instead, I am thinking of it as a time to prepare for my life as a slave, a time to learn all kinds of things which will add to his life. I am study all that I can about topics relating to M/s, etc.

A few things I have on my to do list: Lose weight Learn massage Learn belly dancing

I am already a really good cook, and bake well. I spent ten years as a domestic engineer (housewife), so I know how to keep a house.

What else would you suggest I learn/study?

I had a few ideas come to mind. Some of the skills you may have already acquired from being a housewife.
  • Learn how to do home book keeping.
  • Learn how to prepare taxes.
  • Learn how to repair electrical problems.
  • Learn how to repair plumbing problems.
  • Learn basic automobile repair.
  • Learn how to sew and reupholster.
  • Learn anything that your Master finds of interest. :)

best wishes,

slave emma

Hello

Boy five years is a long time! One of the key things you might want to continually focus on is learning what really makes your Master tick, how he likes his house run, his likes, dislikes, interests, behavioural norms.

M/s or vanilla, living together is not easy. Even when you really know someone. We're all made so differently and sometimes, bringing two people together under one roof, even though they have a common purpose, doesn't run smoothly.

If I had five years before I was going to live with someone, I'd spend those years learning every single thing about that other person. For your Master, this might be his early morning routines, how he likes things done on a daily basis, the shade of brown that he takes his tea etc. And also should you make him aware of any nuances/needs (whatever they may be and if they're allowed) that you have.

I say this because years ago, in a vanilla setting, I spent two years away from My partner as we went to different schools. The result was that for two years we did little else but talk on the phone every night (this was pre internet if there ever was such a time!), and so when we finally lived together, we pretty much knew everything there was to know about each other and it worked just fine.

All of the above is, of course, secondary to the best course of action - and that is to ask your Master what you should spend the next five years doing in preparation.....

Thank you both for the replies. Yes, five years IS a long time, and if I think of it in terms of time, then I could possibly drive myself crazy. I think learning things which might add to the quality of my service is a better way to spend the time.

I'm in a very similar situation to you, it will be several years before I can live with my slave, and in the meantime we are about 100 miles apart most of the time. I am having her improve her education, and she is pursuing becoming a Registered Nurse (I should add that the particular field of study was her idea, and she is enthusiastic about it and intends to work as a nurse when she completes her studies).

I assume you're aware of the Miss Abernathy books, many of the topics in them will be worth study, and they suggest additional resources to learn more.

Of course the most important thing is what your Master wants you to learn or do during this time!

Mike
