i usually wear a choker style necklace to work (i work in an office at a community college) but there are days, such as today, that i am wearing my leather collar. Today is one of those rare days that Master has allowed me wear a high collared sweater (it's cold out there)and my collar is only slightly visible (not that i personally mind if others see it). Anyway, the other thing that i wear is a "Story of O" ring and this is NEVER allowed to be taken off other than to shower so that it doesn't slip off my finger.

i hope that helps a little bit.

Respectfully, suki

As my name sake, i too wear the ring as well as a collar to work when Master places it on me, only he can remove it. Due to my work, occaisionally Master will replace the collar with another as my work requirement due to saftey reasons. If Master approves of the article then i will wear it ever bearing in mind my work restrictions, and in some instances, i will wear clothing to hide what has been chosen for me that day, making it very interesting for that shift. This only enhances my effort to please Master, as i feel it is a test to see how i will react and adapt to what He has set before me.

I got my boys bracelets like this... http://www.runesmith.co.uk/runehand/bracelet.htm ...with special wording for each.

They are written in futhark runes so unless someone can read runes fluently they just look like the subtle "magnetic" bracelets people wear for rheumatism etc.

They didn't think twice about the words "slave" or "property of" but then as they also own... http://www.silverandsteel.co.uk/ss0.htm ...I would guess they understand the lifestyle :)

Both boys wear them all the time and although #2 has had a few comments they have been along the line of that's nice, or where did you get it, rather than the curiosity a collar would have raised (he works in a very conservative environment).

Because Master was/is a Priest/Elder in the Church, may He rest in peace, i had a couple of "everyday" collars - one is just something that could pass for a choker, with a dragon on it - i think, not sure, the maker of this custom collar was a W.D. Sade online, if i remember right.

it's not all that different from something that many people woud wear, yet it's heavy bronze beads and the ring the dagon hangs off of can also be used as a lead. it's discreet, yet enough to make me feel collared.

W/we had a second everyday collar that wasn't metal so i could go through metal detectors- Master had a very part-time job that occasionally had Him repairing some refridgeration units in American Military Basis post-911 and also some personal business that took Him into the courthouse at some points and even to city hall for something else- ie. a hearing to get disabled parking signs in front of where W/we lived and where i still live, for now. It basically was a macrame and plastic beads choker. Many costume jewelry of the choker variety can be used as an every day collar for some - everything from the costume jewelry 8 dollar one i have to those that cost a whole bunch more. i've read something recentally claiming a lawyer is using this type of thing - but much more expensive- in her day to day job.

Just some thoughts! Of course there were other collars- including my fave-one Master made me, for lifestyle events.

j/L Papa's owned always: still proudly wearing His Collar and Ring, rest in peace Beloved Master/Husband! alias "GRANNY" Matrika ye "OLDE" crone, bright blessing!

Hi

Have you thought of a locking belt perhaps that can be worn under clothing? I'd also suggest the cuffs or anklets that others have mentioned :)

At the risk of sounding like I'm shamelessly advertising (I'm really not - there's a reason for mentioning it) we make metal collars, cuffs and belts that look like everyday chokers, etc but are locking. We do a black pvc coated one that looks just like a regular choker - a bit boho if you like.

If you're a bit strapped at the moment please email me and I'm sure we could do something for you that you could afford. All my details are on my profile.

VadFarkas mentioned that he notices things on tv and around... I have to say doing this does add a new dimension to the televisual viewing... you can easily lose the plot of a film trying to work out what they're wearing around their neck :)

Take care

I know other people have suggested tying a piece of rope around your middle or a having a chain there, but I thought perhaps a piece of long ribbon tied around your chest and down to your midrift would be good. it would be constricting and you would feel it with movement but perhaps wouldn't be as likely to show through your clothing as much as a piece of rope would say.

Master works at McDonald's and wears a wrist cuff. Or will, once we get the permanent one ordered, but for now he wears a bracelet. No problems.

This post has probably been edited for spelling/grammar because I'm weird like that.

i've worked in and with food for a very long time, and at varying positions ... (McDonalds being a very special place in my heart).i've seen that unless its a super thick collar with some kind of padlock on it ... most people don't notice ... but my Master likes to keep me very ornamented ... a thin, stainless or some other metal collar isn't likely to be noticed unless you're management or something (that's when things get really tricky)

the rules where i work is that we can wear no jewelery with stones in it, no piercings that can be seen, although medical bracelets are allowed (i have to wear one) ... but thats one option, if you want it to be seen but make it so you never have to answer any questions, order a medical style stainless steel id bracelet, they're pretty cheap depending on where you go ... and you have a lot of options for the engraving.

also, ankle bracelets are good, my Master has me wear one of them too ... and i have my neck lass and collars

good luck!

i wear a simple thin white rope tied as an anklet around my ankle as a reminder. it's been on for a very long time, i have lost track of how long. the only way to get it off is to cut it off. rope of course is a reminder of rope bondage which is usually around the ankles too. its thin enough as to no interfere with any clothing or more importantly any other bondage gear i am put into, and the only way it will come off is to cut it off. of course its tied in such a way as to not be too tight to cause a problem, the knot won't slip but small enough to not be able to be slipped off my foot. even by force.
