This post is on the M/s D/s O&P web board.

I am wondering where is a good place or site to find slave collars? The type of collar I'm looking for could be leather or something pretty...but not with SLAVE or SLUT or BITCH across the front of it. Something more discreet...Thank you in advance for any help... |

I have been making Stainless Steel collars in the Turian style since the late 90's and belive I was the first to do so. You mentioned that you are looking for a leather collar but if you might consider one of mine, I will give you or anyone else that mentions The Slaver Register on the order form a 10% discount. I am linked on the page administration posted but here is a direct link.

For any or you who might be interested, I did indeed make the collar and the manacles that morgan wears. When I originally made them, I fabricated them so that they were without hinges. In this manner they were hard to get on and harder yet to get off. Practical matters being what they are, I altered them so that they now have hinges. This makes it easier to put on and take off and to be more discrete when we have to go out. I cut them and fixed small hinges to them that were riveted in place. This makes them a tad more usable. Things that are hard to use tend to get disused, I have found. Next weekend, I plan to fabricate the manacles that she will wear on her ankles. I will make these with hinges from new.
One of you asked you how it was that I made them…I have not forgotten your request for guidance on the fabrication technique. I plan to take photos and try to make some instructions that won't be too difficult to follow. I figure that I can share this and so you can join in the fun, too.
I am Remoses.

Just because it's inconvenient, doesn't mean it's not required.

just for the record...i have one of VadFarkas' collars. i have worn it without interruption since i received it from Master on December 5, 2007. i love it, and love the meaning behind it. it is easy to wear, and i get a lot of compliments even in my extremely vanilla worksplace.

Maybe consider making your own? They are fairly simple. My first real collar was a very simple plain black leather one I made. IT had a buckle from wal mart (lol) and a D ring on the frontheld in place by a strip of leather in the back.
It was simple, but pretty and very personal. |

I also wear one of VadFarkas' collars and greatly enjoy it. However, I did notice you mentioned leather. You could try your local pet supply, as my initial collar was black leather form Petco. OR you could try Sub-shop.com, or XTreme Restrains, or perhaps even stockroom.com. |

www.stockroom.com - I got my slave's collar there, there's not a real variety of things but you could find something that you like. Real nice people and fast delivery. |

I got a beautiful custom made silver collar from www.bondagecollars.com/ . I have had it on for a few months now with no problems. Proudly owned and collared by Lady Florence

I make collars for sale but also agree with the folks that say one made by your Master has the most meaning. Not everyone can make their own, especially in metal. For them, there are many other materials that are much more friendly to work with. The pride in wearing something made by yourself outweighs the flaws that might occur in making it... besides it will be unique to you.
I just took a photo of the first collar I ever made. I think the leather came from an old belt that broke and the hasp I bought at the Hardware store. I bent the hasp to conform better with her neck and used some rivets to hold it on. There is some leather backing because she was very allergic to metal, other than gold back then. Total cost was very nominal but she still wears it every so often after 30 years.
